This dip is out of this world, but yet unbelievably simple! Our good friend Mikey gave this to us a while back and has become a big requested item at all family gatherings and events. You can basedon your own preferences change out the type of extract used. We use Almond, but feel free to to try others!
This is the gravy I make whenever I make bratwurst. I used the drippings from the pan that I cook the brats in. This base can be used for gravy for just about everything. It does not matter what type of meat you use.
This salsa is a staple at all of our family events and we serve it along side my bean dip! This recipe makes a very large amount.
Make sure that your tomatoes and onions are roughly the same in size, and in order to make the salsa hotter, leave the seeds in the jalapenos.
We love to make huge batches of this for the week to bring to work and school, or for any picnic or BBQ. This is a hearty enough salad to be eaten as a main dish or to be used as a side. You can get creative with what you add to the salad base don your own personal taste. Enjoy!
This is a staple at every family event in our house and with our friends now. It is always requested by everyone and I often time make up two of them or bring extra ingredients with me to make another. The is great served with Frito Scoops or Tortilla chips. You can also substitute your favorite canned chili for the refried beans, or play with the types of salsa you use to change up the recipe a bit. Best of luck!
This is my traditional way of making Brats. We use wild game meet brats that is put together by our butcher. I get it ground in packages, and then I make patties out of it. You can also use linked brats jsut the same! We love this with gravy, rice/spaetzle and red cabbage... It is definitely one of our monthly must haves!
This is a great hearty meal. Fun for kids, and pretty easy in my book. You can use either Cream of Mushroom Soup or Cream of Celery. I use celery because of a mushroom allergy. This may not require all of the soup.. I usually use approx. 1 1/2 cans.
This is a great recipe I received from a friend of mine. When I lived in Europe this was a favorite drink of ours. I make this in batches and give as gifts to friends and co-workers during the holidays. This is very refreshing on hot summer days straight out of the freezer!
