These are more of a breadstick than a biscuit although I guess you could roll them out and cut them into biscuit shapes. I got this recipe from a Land-O-Lakes cookbook that I received pages from every month. These are great with pasta or soup. A favorite in our house. Very flavorful :-)
While on a calorie-counting quest, I put together this chicken salad 'loaded' with celery, onion, and shredded carrots (which contain very little calories). The almonds give it a little extra crunch, and the cranberries are just sweet goodness :)
I listed 'creamy Italian dressing'. For this, I made Creamy Italian Dressing #34649 and added 1 tbsp of honey mustard, using 2 tbsp of this mixture in my salad.
Making these meatballs can be very time consuming but once you make and freeze them they are actually a time-saver. These are great to use in a quick Italian Wedding Soup. They're also great added to ramen noodle soup with some mixed frozen vegetables. Use in pasta or with finger rolls for 'mini' meatball sandwiches (for little mouths). The possibilities are endless :-)
This is a recipe I got from my neighbor and good friend, Trudy. When looking through her cookbook together, I asked her to pick out a recipe for me to make. This is what she picked. She calls it 'Paradise Park' coleslaw because it reminds her of the summer picnics with her good friends and family in Paradise Park. This is a yummy sweet and tangy coleslaw made without mayo. It will last in the frig for months. Thanks, Trudy!
