Wow! Who knew there were so many versions of Dorito casserole out there? For the record, this one is different than all the others posted here. I actually found it on Pinterest. The original reciped calls for plain tortilla chips and I decided to try it with Doritos instead. It's quite yummy!

    Recipe #472730

A true southern staple. Around here, egg bread is a sweet cornbread made with eggs. This is one of my family's favorite meals. I adapted this from the recipe served at Kleeman's, a very popular restaurant in downtown Nashville, TN way back when (now closed). You can make your own egg bread from scratch, but I prefer the convenience of the boxed mix.

    Recipe #378783

With all the Snowball recipes on here, I was shocked to see that this one wasn't. This is a super quick and easy recipe that even the youngest child can help with (our 2 yr old neighbor had a grand time)! The perfect Christmas treat! This recipe came from one of the many Gooseberry Patch cookbooks.

    Recipe #345062

Someone brought this to a church dinner, and I have never seen so many people scramble for a recipe. It's superb! I am afraid I will lose my only copy, so I am posting it here for safekeeping.

    Recipe #310522

I modified another recipe found here on 'Zaar and came up with this! Delicious served with wild rice and roasted asparagus. Easy enough for weeknights, but special enough for company.

    Recipe #293492

I adapted this from a recipe a friend gave me. These green beans are truly to die for! Not for the calorie conscious, but OH SO GOOD!

    Recipe #274477

This was served at my church's annual Soup Night. Heavenly! I think I ate 3 bowls all by myself.

    Recipe #265041

One of many variations of taco soup. This one is my favorite -- posting here for safekeeping.

    Recipe #265039

Another kid-pleasing snack with a kid-pleasing name. This is one of my daughters' favorites. This also makes a good breakfast. You can substitute cream cheese for the peanut butter if you like.

    Recipe #181591

This is a very dense, moist and sweet bread, very beloved in the south. This recipe comes from Daisy King, owner of the now-closed Miss Daisy's Tearoom in Franklin, TN.

    Recipe #130428

I created this one day when my 4yo was tired of the same old snacks. This was all I had on hand but I was able to put it together and give it a cutesy name so my daughter loved it! This would also make a fun breakfast. You could even substitute raisins for the blueberries. Personally, I am not sure about the blueberry/peanut butter combo but hey, my daughter loves it and that's what counts!

    Recipe #129552

I saw Paula make this on her show and it looked delectable.

    Recipe #128121

Every Thanksgiving celebration in my family since I have been alive has included this pumpkin pie, my great-great Aunt Nell's. It has converted more than one pumpkin pie hater, including my father. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.

    Recipe #127303

When my grandmother passed away I found this handwritten recipe tucked away among her belongings. I am posting it here for safekeeping. I am not sure what kind of cheese she used. I guess feel free to use your favorite! Serving size is a guess.

    Recipe #127275

Recipe courtesy of Miss Mary Bobo's Boarding House in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Cook time is chill time.

    Recipe #127161

Miss Mary Bobo ran a famous boarding house in Lynchburg, Tennessee, home of the Jack Daniels Distillery. Miss Mary, who lived to be 101, never touched a drop of whiskey herself, but she sure could cook with it! Here is one of her famous recipes.

    Recipe #127159

Coming from Lynchburg, Tennessee you knew these would not be complete without a bit of Jack Daniels! Recipe courtesy of Miss Mary Bobo's Boarding House.

    Recipe #127156

The name says it all. This recipe comes from Miss Mary Bobo's Boarding House in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and it's famous. Is it a breakfast? A side dish? A dessert? You decide!

    Recipe #127154

This has been a staple at Miss Mary Bobo's Boarding House in Lynchburg, Tennessee for over 100 years. Use only fresh corn for best results. I have not made this so cook times are only estimates.

    Recipe #127153

A favorite of guests at Miss Mary Bobo's Boarding House in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Please note: cook time does NOT include overnight refrigeration. This dough can be kept in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
