Quick and easy lunch! Prepare dressing the day before, and assemble in minutes. You can seed the tomato if you like, but I like the tomato juices and don't mind if it's a bit sloppy : )

    Recipe #245107

Great with any fish dish. I found this in a recipe for Cumin-Lemon Seasoned Tuna Steaks.

I've recently discovered tahini and absolutely love it! In this healther adaptation of tuna salad, tahini replaces mayonnaise as the emulsifier and adds unique flavor along with the Middle Eastern spices. I like to add apples to my tuna salad for a contrasting sweet, tart flavor.

Prepare this the night before. This is what I drink after my long runs...15-20 miles. Great recovery drink, which should contain a 4:1 carbs to protein ratio.

I can't take credit for inventing this. I found it on Fiona Hayne's Low Fat Cooking blog. It's so easy to put together, and it works just as well as Pam.

I got this recipe from Alton Brown - A different kind of salad!

    Recipe #448552

This dressing goes great with an Asian cabbage salad. Adjust the spiciness by the amount of cayenne pepper that you use.

The frozen blueberries give this smoothie a little icy thickness and really chill it down. In addition, blueberries are very healthy: they are high in antioxidants and vitamin C. There also have been studies indicating that blueberries slow the aging process of the brain! Simple, delicious, and healthy!

The sweet topping complements the brie so well in this easy-to-make yet gourmet-like appetizer. Great for wine and cheese parties!

Southwestern flavors highlight this vegetarian take on a BLT. Try with an onion bagel!

I concocted this hummus the other day from a combination of garlic hummus recipes here on Zaar. Since I found it kinda bland, I added a few more spices and the vegetables. I used about a 1/2 cup of vegetables in total. You can really use any combination of vegetables that you want: red pepper, red onion, and celery would also be good!

    Recipe #215645

I got the original recipe from it a little. Try this in early spring when asparagus in season! This slaw is a wonderful, unique, and tasty way to serve this delicous veggie!

I saw this on Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals. They are quick and tasty! Great for an appetizer or for a snack while watching your favorite sports team.

    Recipe #227173

My boyfriend and I put this together one night for dinner using leftovers. We didn't have pizza sauce, so we decided to use salsa with some tomato paste (salsa alone is too watery). If you like a thicker pizza sauce, use more tomato paste and less salsa. While we were making it, I was thinking that the flavors were probably going to come together really well even though it was thrown together randomly. It was delicious! Great for a busy weeknight!

Well, I tagged toni gifford's Recipe #106966 in Please Review My Recipe, and I didn't see anything that inspired me for filling...sooooo I modified my Recipe #211482 a bit to create this delectable filling :) mmmmm it's creamy and delicious and (somewhat) healthy?? The French would not approve.

These cookies are chewy, and the glaze is just the right amount of sweet. It's a great peanut butter cookie recipe by itself. The glaze is an extra touch for something original!

    Recipe #194669

I got this off of Cabot's website.

    Recipe #448550

I got the idea for this from FOOD magazine..modified it a bit. It's yummy!
