I concocted this recipe uses Brennen's Recipe for Bananas Foster. Brennen's Restaurant in New Orleans is where the dessert was created, so this is authentic. Give it a try--it's perfect for brunch and the presentation is spectacular (prepare the sauce where your guests can see).

    Recipe #249862

Found this on a blog for freezer crock-pot meals and modified the ingredients a bit to suit our tasted and 4-person family size . http://organizerbyday.blogspot.com/2013/12/broccoli-cheddar-soup.html. I doubled the original recipe amounts so we can freeze it for an easy crock-pot meal later. The freezer meals on the blog are a great idea, but not very tasty, save the pulled pork. But this soup rocks!

    Recipe #518710

I had this mouth joy at a BBQ with my honey's work crew. I'm not a fan of macaroni salad, but this is so darn good I just had to get the recipe. Don't let the strange combination of ingredients fool you- I'd probably skip over this one if I just looked at the ingredients but never tried it! Somehow, they all come together to make MAGIC in your mouth! Trust me on this one.

Recipe from paleoleap.com I put it here so I don't lose it. I will modify it when I try the recipe out :)

This was my Texan dad's Holiday meal contribution every year. When my mom use to make it for us, she would add miniature marshmallows and mandarine orange slices, but I like it better without them. I'm sure he found it ina magazine or soemwhere, but I can't find an identical recipe anywhere.

This is the result of an experiment, and a rather tasty one at that! Great as a pick-me-up on a hot summer afternoon.

MY husband's Fav. from Johnny's. I have posted the recipie for Lemon Butter. Absolutely Delish!

This is how my Lebaneese in-laws make delicious yogurt at home. It's really easy, and much cheaper than buying it in the store. You can make as much or little as you like- we usually do a gasllon at a time.

This is for Johnny Carino's Lemon Butter, used in many of their recipies. It can be cut to make less, but it keeps well so if you'll use it, make a full recipe.

These are delicious and healthy! Great for Breakfast or dessert. I like to make a huge batch and freeze the left overs as toaster waffles for a later date. I'm done with Eggos.

After finding the recipes for low fat brownies on the Zaar lacking, I decided to create my own recipe. Here is what I've come up with, much lower in fat and still delicious. I've put the molasses as optional, because I've made it with out, but I think it really enhances the flavor. You may stir in 1/2 cup chopped nuts after the last step, but that will add more fat to the recipe. And, you may use two squares unsweetened baking chocolate instead of the cocoa, oil, and extra tablespoon of applesauce

I have posted the origional Recipe for Johnny Carino's Jalapeno Garlic Tilapia, which we love. But, if you look at the fat content, it's pretty frightful. I came up with a lower fat, healthier version so I can have my fish and eat it too.

I created this recipe for DH using a variety of recipes that were modified to fit his needs. I like to grind the raw almonds about as coarse as coffee grinds and we use a vanilla flavored whey protein. These are quite tasty, higher in protein and lower in cost than most commercial bars. (Not for weight-loss).

I love the original and these are close to exact. The original recipe was from a copycat website, but I have made a few adjustments to make them closer to the real thing. You will think they are undercooked when you take them out of the over, but they aren't.

    Recipe #262830

I just created this delicious drink- I have lots of gold rum and banana liquor and had to get creative. Using popsicles instead of a swizzle stick makes the drink fun and adds flavor.
