This is an easy recipe to put together and can be altered depending on what you may have on hand. You can change the fruits, the type of bread or use cinnamon rather than nutmeg. I always make this the night before then bake it the next morning. So the 2 hours I put is only a guess.

This recipe came from Southern Living Magazine. It's easy to make and uses ingredients that most of us have in our kitchen. It's delicious plain or with fruit, ice cream or whatever your imagination can create! (Time includes prep and baking, but not cooling time.)

    Recipe #282048

The original recipe for these brownies was submitted by Chef Karen =^..^=. I tried this recipe for the lighten up game. I substituted the butter with an equal amount of applesauce to try to lower the fat content. WHATEVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT is what you add in. Like 1-2 cups of chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, m&m's, nuts, raisins or whatever you like. I did not include any in this recipe so you would what the nutritional values were before adding in whatever floats your boat! The original recipe had 180 calories and 9.9 grams of fat.

This is very quick to prepare and can be used immediately after making as a glaze to drizzle on your cake or dessert. You can let it sit a few minutes and it will thicken up into a delicious and creamy frosting. Or add a little more powdered sugar to thicken it even more. I have no idea of the number of servings because it would depend on what you were using it for. So I just stuck a number in because I had to put something there. But I would probably double it for a two layer cake. But for a glaze over a cake or dessert this would probably be plenty.

This is a fast, easy and flavorful chicken entree. I use McCormicks brand of chipotle chili powder. The ingredients as listed produce a mild flavored dish. Add more chipotle and use a hot salsa for a spicier dish.

This is a very moist cake and not too sweet. You can make a glaze and drizzle over the top of the cake after it is cool. It will keep stored airtight, at room temperature, for a week.

This is a simple recipe from Mr. Food. He says that he cooks them longer because everyone likes the crispy bits. After cooking them I discovered that the brown bits are actually on the bottom. If you cook them too long the whole bottom will become more or less one big crispy bit. LOL! So check the bottom of the fries, not the top! I think these need garlic, although it's not in the original recipe.

This is a fast recipe to put together that uses ingredients that most of us keep on hand. It's a very forgiving recipe in that you can easily add or change ingredients and it will still be a very healthy and flavorful dish! I have used the leftovers in tacos or as a topping for tamales.

I use Buitoni Low Fat 4 cheese ravioli found in the refrigerated section. I put 1 T olive oil in the instructions, but just use the smallest amount as you can to sucessfully saute your veggies and coat your ravioli. This is quick and easy.

This is so quick and easy to put together and looks really special. You can use whatever toppings you happen to have on hand. The filling can also be served as a dip with veggies, fritos or tortilla chips. Prep time includes thawing time while preparing the filling, but does not include chill time. I think this came from somewhere on the internet.

These are so good! Crisp on the outside and melting cheese on the inside! This recipe was originally from Betty Crocker. Servings depends totally on how large or small you cut your cheese. I prefer Monterrey Jack.

This is quick and easy. Great for dipping in Marinara Sauce. This recipe is from Betty Crocker.

This is what I use as a dipping sauce for my cheese nuggets and parmesan puffs. I also use it on pastas, chicken or about anything that calls for a red sauce. It freezes well.

These are easy to cook and assemble and can be frozen to be used as needed. I use large potatoes, so 1/2 stuffed potato shell is one serving.

This is simple to prepare and makes a good potato soup. It can be prepared in advance up to the addition of the half and half. Just refrigerate at that point and when ready to serve add the half and half and serve or heat and serve. As the Title says, Some like it hot, some like it cold!

My husband always requests these during the holidays when we have fresh local pecans. I use the full tsp of hot pepper sauce (tobasco) in mine. (The servings shown are an estimate depending on what you're using them for.)

This is an old family recipe of my Mother-in-Laws. She used to serve it every year at her Christmas Eve party.

This is a quick, easy and flavorful recipe for a delectable looking side dish. I use frozen grated potatoes (thawed) to save time.

    Recipe #141967

Courtesy of Paula Deen. I made this and took it to a family gathering and they gobbled it right up. They ate it on sandwiches, on crackers, with fritos and even as a topping on a grilled black bean burger.

This is a good punch that people seem to like, even those that don't care for red wine. The prep time does not include the chill time for the punch or the freezing of the ice ring if using one. (You can also use the recipe for wine coolers.)
