I served this to a German friend & she said I was the only American she had met that knew how to cook sauerkraut! Very tasty & meat is oh, so tender.
My Oriental friend gave me this recipe. It is very good & can be made thicker by adding more eggs. For variety, try adding green onion or 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
This was a favorite when growing up. My children & grandchildren love them too.
This is my baby sister's recipe. I omit the bell pepper but have added chopped pimento. Easy & very refreshing.
YUM! YUM! and not a lot of work. A hit every time I have served it.
This is not only pleasing to the taste buds but beautiful to look at. It really dresses up a table in a crystal bowl. Got this from my wonderful big sister. Marinating time is cooking time.
A Holiday favorite for as long as I can remember. Momma didn't like fruitcake but wanted something "traditional" for the holidays. I used to make this in small loaves & send it to my children's teachers as a holiday gift.
This was one of my favorite dishes when we were stationed in Iran. My children still request this often. It's simple & very tasty. Ground lamb is hard to get where I live so I use hamburger.
Doesn't sound like much but these are very tasty. Kids like it because they can eat it with their fingers. My maid, in Iran, taught me to make this.
I got this recipe from a dear friend - A light, quick crowd pleaser! Very tasty - teenagers LOVE it!
