This cake took the blue ribbon at the Illinois State Fair in 2009, and it isn't hard to see why once you've tasted a bite. The combination of chocolate and cocoa flavor is perfectly balanced, and the coconut milk in the cake gives it a moist, fudgy texture.

    Recipe #415859

This was a favorite of my son's when he was a boy and he still loves it today. It requires no eggs or dairy and is easy to put together. For special occasions, the oil version is slightly more moist, but the applesauce version is very good. Don't really know what the vinegar is for!

    Recipe #403373

My family loves this treat made this way. The spices may be downplayed for those whose tastebuds like the milder versions by decreasing the cayenne and red pepper sauce, but sometimes we use even more of those! Great snack to keep around during the holidays.

    Recipe #398792

Trial and error has produced this easy, never fail frosting for cupcakes or a cake. This makes enough for a cake or about 18 cupcakes.

    Recipe #394026

This came in an e-mail from The Food Network and looks to be not only easy, but a different and scrumptious way to cook chicken. This would work well with pork too.

    Recipe #393292

This is from the Food Network. My kids love chicken nuggets and, by making them myself, I know what's really in them. These are a little less fat too, and can be made even more so by using olive oil or cooking in the oven.

    Recipe #389804

This is a great accompaniment to a wide range of dishes and, aside from cleaning the mushrooms, extremely easy.

    Recipe #389730

This pizza can be made very healthy with Egg Beaters or can be made with eggs - which are healthy too, but add more cholesterol. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

    Recipe #388736

We tried this over the Christmas holidays and it was a hit! Love that it leaves the morning free from cooking during family get-togethers. It originally came from the Allrecipes site, and we made a few changes.

    Recipe #386511

Just watched Giada make this and it looks so light and tasty! Can't wait to try it. Update: did try and have changed the dressing slightly, in agreement with the first review.

    Recipe #384304

A friend of mine shared this with me. I believe she said she found it in Southern Living. She made two pies out of this, although the recipe states one pie. That would cut the calories in half! Admittedly, I stuffed it all into one deep crust and even then it was almost too much. Delicious.

    Recipe #384047

I found this on the Allrecipes site and have used this recipe several times with wonderful results. I made a few changes to the original and am posting here for the zaar fans to enjoy (as well as for me to find with ease). It produces a tender dish with a wonderful flavorful.

    Recipe #352367

I found this on Allrecipes, posted by Fionasmom, and tried it over the Christmas holidays this year. Everyone agrees it is a winner and pretty easy. You can make the dough the night before and finish making them in the morning.

    Recipe #348329

I first made this recipe about 30 years ago, before I had even tasted lasagna - so I had no idea how it was supposed to turn out. I've modified it a little over the years, but everyone still loves it. It freezes well too.

    Recipe #348309

This recipe was in a magazine at the doctor's office. I copied it onto the back of my check book, and have used the last check, so am posting here for safe keeping. Have not tried yet, but plan to do so for the next family breakfast gathering.

    Recipe #348277

I have been using this recipe for years and have been asked for it many times. It is simple, cheap and tastes great. Even DH likes it!

    Recipe #346091

This recipe was featured on GMA this a.m. and will be great for Christmas morning. It is created by the Barefoot Contessa. She used raisins and pecans but, as my family does not like them in sticky buns, I have excluded them from the ingredients in order to get a more correct calorie and nutrient count. Defrosting time for the puff pastry is not included in cooking time. She says you can make this entirely the night before and cook in the morning.

    Recipe #342886

Kielbasa with pasta in a tomato sauce

    Recipe #341476

Makes the flakiest pie crust with such ease!

    Recipe #341250

A friend of mine gave me this recipe more than 30 years ago. It is still the best Bleu Cheese dressing I've had.
