    Recipe #155665

Easy addition to cookie trays! Bourbon and coffee go together very well in these little gems. The bourbon taste is very mellow in these, so you won't have to worry about it being overpowering.

My version of red velvet cake. This has a pound cake like texture and the frosting is super simple.

My favorite cole slaw recipe. I'm asked to make this all summer long. Goes great with BBQ. I could almost make a meal out of this on it's own. Reminds me of comfort food because it has all of my favorite flavors all in the same bowl.

Glazed ham without the mess or fuss.

    Recipe #148583

A side dish that will go with almost anything. We like it best with seafood or a pork roast. This dish freezes like a charm! Great to make ahead and pull out of the freezer for a quick fix side.

    Recipe #147996

If you like reubens you will really enjoy this spread! I make this a lot for the guys watching football/baseball games. We never have any leftovers. Serve with plain or toasted rye bread slices, crackers, or other sturdy sides.

    Recipe #147993

No mayo here...just potatoes, bacon, onions and a light vinaigrette. Always fresh tasting and never heavy...goes well with any picnic food. Sometimes I add a little fresh rosemary as a garnish, the flavor goes well with the potatoes and bacon.

    Recipe #147349

Light, refreshing and lower in the calorie department. I like to add some fresh grated nutmeg to this, it goes great with the mint and ricotta. Great for a special light breakfast or an elegant lunch.

    Recipe #147336

From the Griswold Inn in Essex, Connecticut. I can never pass up a grits recipe....and I'm very glad that I made this one. A few unusual ingredients blend together to make a tasty breakfast side dish. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

    Recipe #146511

Comfort food at it's best. My grandmother used to make this when I was a little girl. The shortcake is actually cornbread and the filling is saucy chicken. She never added the peppers, but I added them for flavor and color. A side of greens goes great with this. Brings back a lot of memories, so I thought I's share.

The marinade for the chops also works perfectly on a pork roast or loin. This is a make the night before and cook in a hurry recipe. Great for busy nights as long as you plan ahead.
