This is a fabulously easy and elegant sorbet that you absolutely don't need an ice cream freezer for. This also works well with plums, any kind of berry and mangos.

Its so simple and fast you can have it on the table in under 20 minutes. Recipe is versatile, you can make it with just frozen peas or you can make it with any other veggie you happen to have on hand. My daughter loves this, one of the few things she has learned to cook for herself.

These are mouthwatering and wonderful. Pretty high in calories, we save these for special occasions, but you will never want a steak any other way again!

A fabulous recipe with a French flair, original recipe from www.adavalley.com and changed to suit ingredients I had on hand. Beurre Rouge is a red wine and butter sauce. This came out restaurant quality, very very good, very very fattening, need I say more?

Thick, creamy, the consistency of soft cream cheese. This works with low fat yogurts too! The ingredients look funny because it wouldn't accept only one ingredient but it would accept a coffee filter as an ingredient, lol.

With Herbs de Provence (with little or no lavender) , garlic and a gentle roasting time, this comes out fabulously seasoned and moist.

These came out fabulous and were fairly simple to prepare. Original recipe on southernfood.about.com with a slight change for our tastes (I will include the original ingredients) I used a smart pot for this one, finished in about 2 hours on high, but if left longer it would caramelize the onions and probably be even better!

I found this recipe on the Food and Wine website. These taste almost identical to kashi's TLC bars. I have made this 100 times or more and I promise once you get the hang of mixing it, maybe the second go round, it will come out perfect. I hand shape them into "bars" and wrap them in plastic wrap individually, storing them in the freezer, but I have included directions for making real cut bars too. The original recipe called for 1 1/4 cups of walnuts, which are nice, but I prefer almonds. I also use the kashi puffs cereal to get the 7 grains and sesame seeds in place of the puffed rice cereal. It is very important that you cook the syrup until it is slightly thickened, the full 4 minutes, or it wont hold the bars together.

This is the easiest recipe, even my teenaged daughter can put this together when she gets home from school and it is ready when I get home from work.

This is just so good we couldn't stop eating it the first time (and subsequent times) we made it! Savory and perfectly shredded, people beg me for the recipe. The trick is to use a tip roast and cook it in a savory broth.

This recipe is courtesy of Robin, it is my BF's absolute favorite, he could eat this for breakfast lunch and dinnner. To speed up the recipe you can just buy a bag of Simply Potatoes (homestyle work best). Great for camping, cut everything up ahead of time, cook the potatoes and then store in ziplocks in your cooler till ready to cook. Edit: due to the last review, I wanted to make sure you knew to use Franks Red Hot, which is a lot different from Tabasco sauce. It isn't quite as strong, but it still has quite a kick to it, so start out with just a small amount and then add more to your taste. Enjoy!

This is the best recipe for using up lots of zucchini from your garden. I have yet to meet someone who doesn't like this one! Compliments of my grandma, improved upon by my mother and grandmas low fat version in directions too.

This is a roast my grandma used to make every Sunday. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does!

I am not a huge fan of pot roasts, but this roast is outstanding. Full of flavor, tender and mouthwatering.
