A cocktail from Crystal Light. Crystal Light is a sugar free drink mix--1 tub makes 2 quarts, so if you need to substitute, use whatever amount of your mix to make 2 quarts. From the latest issue of Food & Family.
This is my favorite fruit crisp topping. It makes alot, and I love to keep it on hand for a quick dessert. My family LOVES fruit crisps, and I can whip one up in just a few minutes with this in my cupboard. Sometimes I'll use pie filling mixed with fresh fruit for a change. How many times do you have a certain fruit on hand, and want to make a crisp, but have to search for a topping recipe? Well, not anymore. Recipe to make fruit crisp follows.

This is a very simple, but extremely mouth watering dish. Serve as an appetizer or as a meal. My husband and I will each have our own tomato served up. Take small pieces of good crusty bread, top them with your layered tomatoes, have a taste, and try not to say mmmmm. And you'll need a bit of extra bread to soak up the oil, vinegar, and juices left in your plate.
I was inspired to make this fudge by a candy shop in Portsmouth, NH, called Mainely Gourmet. They sell the most decadent and unusual chocolates there. They have a cran orange white chocolate bark that is amazing. I experimented and came up with this. It's delicious, velvety and smooth. A great addition to holiday baking, I think. (Number of pieces you get depends on what size you cut them)
Fast, easy, and so yummy! I had a brownie mix to use up, and my 4 year old was sick and needed a pick me up. Thank you Duncan Hines! These would be great for kids to make. Just 5 ingredients, and you've got great chocolate-chocolate chip cookies. And don't forget the ice cold milk to have with these!
This is made with convenience ingredients, yes, even cream of soup. But it's so good! And I used the low fat cream soup, and light cheese. Very hearty and comforting on a cold night, and SO quick to prepare!
This was in my local newspaper. I haven't tried it yet, but it's here for "safe keeping". Something the kids will love. It's the winner of a recent pancake contest. Winner was Cindy Trantham and kids--Ryan, Shelby, and Ellery. Thanks guys!
This is posted for Sly Girl. It's a Cake Mix Doctor recipe. Very chocolatey, but so fast and easy. It makes enough for 1 bundt or tube cake. For a change, you can substitute 1/4 cup of brewed coffee for the cream.
Super easy recipe, adapted from Duncan Hines. A nice muffin with a bit of oats in it, and the blueberries add a nice bit of sweetness. You can make regular or jumbo sized muffins(see note in instructions). I forgot to add the berries in the ingredient list--until the correction goes through, it should list 2 1/4 cups of berries. ;)
I think this is a great caramel popcorn recipe, and I have tried quite a few! They were either too sticky or too sweet. This one is neither. The caramel dries well and doesn't stick to your fingers, and the sweetness is just right. I use spanish peanuts in this, but you could use other kinds of nuts, too. Here I was searching for the perfect caramel corn recipe, when all the while it was right in my recipe box! This is done in the microwave, and is very simple to make.
