This delicious bread pudding was inspired by canarygirl, Jane_in_RI, and *Denise*. I had a loaf of gingerbread in the freezer (#44268, by Sue L) and wanted to do something different. So we came up with this. And it is heavenly! A great change from everyday bread pudding, and wonderful for the cooler days of fall and winter.

I have not tried this, but posted it in response to a request.

Another one posted in response to a request, but it sounds really easy and delicious.

This is from Beat This, by Ann Hodgman. That one and Beat That, also by her, are real gems if you ever get the chance to peruse them. She says to get really tart lemon squares, use limes. I have, and these are delicious. The citrus salt is optional, but really makes you pucker. :) She says you can find it in Middle Eastern markets, but you may be able to get it these days in a well stocked grocery store.

This Texas Sheet Cake was posted in response to a request. I have not made it myself.

This cooks up very quickly, so get your prep work done first, then start cooking! Easy but delicious, from start to finish in under 30 minutes.

Very fast and very easy, but oustanding flavor! The flavors of the cranberry salsa with the cilantro cream are a surprisingly good combination. One word of advice: the cilantro is a standout flavor in this dish, so if you don't like the herb, you may not like this one.

Another entry for the "I got home late, but still want a great meal" category. You can make this faster than it would take to go out and get take-out. And it's delicious. This one is for 2, but can very easily be doubled.

I have one word for this dish--wow! It's so quick and easy to get to the table, but the flavor is amazing. The pork stays nice and moist, and is even better the second day. I like this with yellow rice and refried beans on the side. Don't let the chocolate throw you if you've never had mole sauce. It's such a small amount, and it doesn't make it sweet, it just adds a deeper, richer flavor to the sauce. From Cooking Light. A side note on the cilantro, if you don't like the flavor of it, you can leave it out. Or I've found that dried cilantro is much milder than fresh.

This is delicious stew. Very flavorful from the spices, but not too spicy, just right. There is no meat in it, and you most likely won't miss it, as the chickpeas are very "meaty" themselves. But I don't see why you couldn't add some meat if you really wanted to. It also goes from prep to table in about 30 minutes, great for weeknight dinners. From Cooking Light.

This is posted for Sly Girl. It's a Cake Mix Doctor recipe. Very chocolatey, but so fast and easy. It makes enough for 1 bundt or tube cake. For a change, you can substitute 1/4 cup of brewed coffee for the cream.

These are the very quick, easy and tasty beans. A fast side dish that you can have ready in about 10-15 minutes.

It doesn't get any easier than this. A fast, delicious meal on the table in minutes. Great for busy days after work, or nice even when you have lots of time. Even faster if you slice the peppers ahead of time. Great flavor, and with no real "sauce", it's a lighter pasta dish.

This casserole was found on the net in response to a post. It was from Lois Morgan of Rocklin. I have not made it yet, but it sounds delicious.

This is one of my favorite things to get at Chili's. My favorite margarita. Very easy and so very good.

If you want amazing flavor with little effort, this chicken is for you. Very easy and quick to prepare, but the results will have you wanting to lick your plate. The cinnamon, cumin, cayenne and orange flavors make this dish, and will leave you wanting more.

This is a very simple, but extremely mouth watering dish. Serve as an appetizer or as a meal. My husband and I will each have our own tomato served up. Take small pieces of good crusty bread, top them with your layered tomatoes, have a taste, and try not to say mmmmm. And you'll need a bit of extra bread to soak up the oil, vinegar, and juices left in your plate.

My family loves this hearty main dish. I get requests for it often. It's very quick and easy to prepare, great for when you're in a hurry. You can buy a couple of the ingredients already prepared in the produce section of the grocery store, if you like.

This recipe is so simple to make, and tastes so good. A nice change of pace, and the pork with the sauce are so light tasting. Prep time includes marinating time.

This is a recipe from The Cake Mix Doctor. My family loves it and it's very easy to prepare. It's been requested for birthday cakes, but it's so easy, you can enjoy it anytime. There is no sweetener in the frosting, just the cookie crumbs. But if you wish, you can add about 1 tablespoon of sugar when you are whipping the cream for a little extra sweetness.
