Wheat free cookies that are simply delicious! I found this recipe on website: Fox in the Kitchen. You can make your own almond meal by grinding whole raw almonds in your food processor. (I like to get my almond meal/almond flour at the bulk food store)

    Recipe #495609

Delicious, healthy, grain free and vegan, these taste more like dessert bars...kind of reminds me of a Blondie. I found this recipe on Chow.com and wanted to share... Note: I did not have grapeseed oil so I used coconut oil.

    Recipe #494494

I was looking for a healthy alternative to store bought snacks and came across this recipe on the Goodness Me site. I haven't tried it yet but wanted to get it on here for nutritional breakdown and safe keeping. NOTE: recipe actually calls for hemp hearts not hemp seeds but the system doesn't let me put "hearts"

    Recipe #488913

This isn't so much a recipe as it is how to grill a skinless, boneless chicken breast that comes out tender, juicy and perfectly cooked. I was always afraid of the BBQ because my chicken breasts would always come out dry and flavourless....not any more. Try this and I guarantee you a perfectly cooked chicken breast every time. Note: I have only estimated the amounts for the olive oil and seasonings.

    Recipe #481463

I threw this together tonight with what I had on hand. It turned out really good! You can play with the spices to suit your taste, I have estimated the amounts here. I made them as written but I think some corn added to the mixture would be good too. Note: prep time includes cooking the filling

    Recipe #454169

There are a few recipes here on Zaar that are based on a similar concept, fresh tomatoes, no cook sauce, but I didn't see this exact recipe and I just made it the first time tonight and it is really quick and super delish so I wanted to share! I got this from a website called cdkitchen

    Recipe #429116

I have been a vegetarian for only 2 months now and wanted to find a recipe that would make tofu taste good! After looking at many recipes I came up with this which combines what I think are the best parts of many recipes. I didn't measure the ingredients so I will give estimates here which will work but feel free to adjust to your personal taste. This really is a special recipe in my opinion that even meat lovers will enjoy.

    Recipe #428797

I stumbled upon this lovely, delicate salad dressing on a blog called Happy, Healthy, Life. Lots of raw food recipes, vegan, vegetarian. This dressing is very nice on tender baby spinach greens. I like to add some honey goat cheese and toasted walnuts.... When entering this recipe it wouldn't let me also show the substitution for the grapefruit juice .... if you don't want to use grapefruit you can substitute 1/2 orange plus 1/2 lemon (both freshly juiced)

    Recipe #417015

This is a recipe from the G.I. Diet book. They are loaded with fibre but taste really nice. Not a light cake like muffin. The cranberries give these muffins a nice little burst of tartness. I didn't have any fresh cranberries so I used dried.

    Recipe #398859

I haven't tried this yet but it sounds so good and I love cauliflower. I got this off a blog I came across on the internet. There was a picture posted and boy did these look delish!!

    Recipe #392595

The rosemary in these potatoes lends a wonderful flavour. I got this recipe off the 2009 Milk Calendar. Truly delicious. You can substitute Provolone or Gouda cheese for the Asiago. I submitted with Asiago as that is what I used.

    Recipe #347462

I just kind of made up this meatloaf from combinations of several recipes. It is so good. Even my picky son said it was good.

    Recipe #276390

This is one of the easiest yet tastiest cheese sauces you will ever make. Excellent over cauliflower, broccoli or any other veggie you like to have a sauce on.

    Recipe #255090

I didn't know what to call this recipe because it is one I have made up. Or maybe I adapted it from something many years ago. This is a nice spicy chili dish that is prepared in one large skillet. Very tasty and good comfort food.

    Recipe #240130

This is my adaptation of a delicious appetizer from a local restaurant (I eat it as my main course!) This is easy to make and very delicious. You could have them as a main course or serve as an appetizer at a party. Serve them with bottled creole dijon sauce (in Canada I found this sauce which is made by Renees, although you could use any of your favourite dipping sauces) **Note: the measurements for the ingredients is approximate, depending on how many wraps you are making.

    Recipe #206596

This is a delicious and simple sauce to make. You dip pieces of fresh fruit into it or for a more elegant presentation put a variety of cut up fruit (vary the colours and textures such as kiwi, peach slices, raspberries and melon) in fancy serving dishes with this sauce drizzled over top. Very refreshing!

    Recipe #190145

I love stuffing and have always been disappointed that there is just never enough of it. This makes a large quantity and tastes delicious. Handy too because you can serve it right from the crock pot insert. You could also add mushrooms or apples to this recipe.

    Recipe #190040

I haven't made this one yet but found it in an old Pillsbury book I have. Sounds really easy but needs quite a bit of cooking time so not good for a rushed dinner. It sounds yummy! (You can substitute any condensed cream soup in this recipe, try cream of mushroom or cream of broccoli). Note: recipe calls for bone-in, skin on chicken breasts.

    Recipe #189824

This is a recipe I cut from the TV Guide almost 20 years ago! Anyone remember Pasquale's cooking show? I believe the actual name of this recipe was "piccola polpetta" which means small meatball. This makes a very nice light, thin sauce which is simply delicious. To keep it simple or in off season you can substitute a can of tomatoes in place of the fresh but in season the sauce is devine with the fresh tomatoes.

    Recipe #189817

This is a delicious twist on what I usually find bland scalloped potatoes. My kids won't eat any other kind!
