I wanted some gravy to go with breakfast and the sausage I had produced zero drippings, bummer! Came up with this and was surprised with myself, flavor was really good. Actually my son liked it better than my normal sausage gravy.
Tried this for a different way to serve Tilapia. Made it up from several different recipes I found online. It really turned out really yummy!!! The salty, spicy, sweet combination with the smoke infusion makes the fish really flavorful. Preparation time includes brine time. I took the advice of the review and cut the salt down from 1 cup to 1/2 cup. I agree, made it a better recipe, thanks for the advice.
Just something I concocted on a whim. Super easy and good. Makes 2 9 1/2" pies. A lot! Used Kroger brand everything except bottom pastry used Pillsbury deep dish for that, topped with store brand pastry.
Just the way I like my escargot. Simple and yet elegant and great. Hint; I buy the snails from IGourmet. They sell a can that contains 72, enough for 12 servings @ a really good price and they are as good or better than the higher priced ones. Truly restaurant quality.
Been wanting to start making my own and saving it here for safe keeping. I haven't tried this yet. Update: I have made this now after reading Wing Man's review. I have made it several times over the last year or so and it is great. I just never updated.
Sometimes we all don't have tomato juice on hand when we need it. This is a simple easy fix with a can of tomato paste you have in your pantry. I find it taste better than most canned juices out there at a fraction of the cost.
