This is my take on strawberry short cake. For the vanilla sponge cake.. you can do scratch, store bought, or out the box. Which ever is easier for you. This is a real easy dessert to put together. And tastes amazing.
This will be the best turkey you ever have. I saw Cristina Ferrare making it on the Oprah Show. Oprah called it her favorite turkey. So I gave it a try and it was juicy and delicious. The cook time dose not include marination time.
If you are making a larger/smaller turkey adjust cooking time and amount of marinade.
This is a breakfast appropriate dish. Or even brunch. serve with warm pita. I ate this alot growing up especially on a warm day. you will be surprised to see how well the cheese and watermelon complement each other.
This is a wonderful and easy recipe. Very traditional in Egypt. Served over plain white rice. My grandmother, and mother... and all my aunties have been making this for decades. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
This is wonderful on the outdoor grill, indoor grill, oven.... even stove top grill pan. A nice garlicky cucumber salad goes wonderfully with this. My kids love this dish... after all it is food on a stick. You can always make these ahead of time and freeze raw... and grill from frozen ( you will need to adjust cooking time for this).
This is a wonderful dish that my mother makes. And I can't get enough of it. It is basically pita chips soaked in chickpea broth and toped with chick peas and a very yummy yogurt sauce... even my two year old loves this dish.
Chickpeas are a bit of a pain to cook from scratch... so i always make a really large batch and freeze it in it's broth... so i can put this together really easily on nights where i haven't got much time. Hope you love it as much as I do.
This is a wonderful recipe. its a kid and adult pleaser. Crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Every one at the table fights over these when i make them.
I've had sweet potatoes fries at restaurants several times. but i tried to come up with a baked/roasted version... reduce the fat increase the taste.
I like to cut up the potatoes length wise... so my fries are nice and long. also i like them to be about a 1/3 of an inch thick.
This is a really easy to make. really high in taste sauce. good for dipping fries, chips, veggies. also good on wraps, burgers, sandwiches. it's easy to make. it's a kid (and grown up) pleaser. this sauce is a must when we bbq.
Your kid or teen will enjoy making this recipe.
This is how my mom makes BBQ chicken. and i think its the best way to cook chicken. mmmm.... my mouth is watering just thinking about it. you can use this marinade for any cut of chicken. works wonders on chicken kebabs.
