Jambalaya in a quick and simple one-dish meal. My best friend always asks for it and I have to have her over when I cook it.

A friend shared this with me. I don't like broccoli and she was trying to get me to try it. It took one bite and I was hooked! It is so yummy and easy to make. I usually make ahead and freeze or store in fridge for a day. Add at least 10 more minutes bake time if you do this.

Don't tell anyone it's spinach, they'll never know! I make them year round, but for Halloween I call them "Troll Boogers" and the kids LOVE them. Thanks to http://www.mardigrasday.com for the recipe!

If you are a German from Nebraska, you must have this recipe. There are lots of shortcuts, but here is the dough and filling from scratch. Making the dough from scratch is far better than the frozen dough shortcut, but it is time consuming. They also freeze well.

My mom used to make them every year for me and my dad. When she tired of the process, she handed the recipe down to me, which I've tweaked just a bit. They are a MUST for the holidays. My family, friends and coworkers begin asking for them the first of December. They take some time to make, but well worth the effort. The "cooking" time is the time the coconut mixture sits in the refrigerator to firm. The times listed are estimates as I've never really timed the process. The servings are an estimate and vary on drop size.

A delicious take on regular chili, this one is made with white beans and chicken in a chicken broth base. Serve with tortilla chips and topped with shredded Monterrey Jack cheese. My friends ask for it as soon as the weather cools off. Perfect for a cold fall day.

When I was in college, a dorm friend's mom would send this dip with her to share with us. I asked for the recipe and have been making it ever since. That was 20+ years ago. It is the most asked for recipe and I've always shared it with my friend's mom's name.
