I say this is Japanese-style because it is similar to the sesame chicken served at a Japanese restaurant in my hometown. Of course they set it on fire and all of that stuff, so it isn't quite as good, but it is close enough for home. My family loves this. I serve it with Recipe #186399.

    Recipe #186388

Kobe is a Japanese restaurant from my hometown. I got this recipe from a cookbook called Hometown Cooking with Bank of Granite and credit is given to Robin Powell. I normally double the rice (it's that good!) and 1/2 the "shrimp sauce" as it goes a long way. I am listing it here exactly as it is printed. PS- Shrimp Sauce is Kobe's name for it there is no shrimp anywhere near it. I serve it with Recipe #186388.

    Recipe #186399

This is a comfort food from my childhood. My mother made these for us and it was always like having apple pie.

    Recipe #183598

I never liked hash brown casserole until I tried this recipe at my neighbors house. This comes out great every time and I can eat on it for a week by itself! I'm sure you could add in things like bacon, sausage, etc as well, but I never have. This makes a large casserole. I hope you enjoy this as much as I if you try it!

    Recipe #298522

This is a great kid-pleasing meal. You can make it ahead and refrigerate it until you are ready to pop it into the oven. I actually came up with this one day when I realized I had to make a pack of smokies or throw them out (But alas, no other ingredients on hand). So I just took my mom-taught homemade mac and cheese recipe and added smokies.

    Recipe #244062

This is a recipe I found on my WW Online. However, they are changing up thier recipes & it's almost impossible to find it anymore. So, I'm placing it here for safe-keeping (just as written). My husband and I are both on WW & we love this chili. Perfect to warm up the insides on a chilly fall/winter day...

    Recipe #439938

The base recipe here was given to me by a friend of mine (named Amy). I made a few alterations to lighten it up bit. I've also included variations to kick it up according to preference/allergies. Putting it here for safe-keeping. Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

    Recipe #439909

This is a wonderful crock pot meal that will even please picky eaters (like me). It is great served over white rice.

    Recipe #182014

Kid-Friendly Chili hunks of tomatos, onions, or peppers. Just a smooth belly-warming bowl of Chili. If you are looking for an "authentic" chili recipe then this is probably no the one for you. However, if you are looking for an easy recipe (that you probably have the ingrediants on hand) you can throw in the crockpot and that your picky eater will actually eat..look no further. This is my fav chili recipe that I modified from an old Eastern Star recipe book called Homespun Cooking. Posting it here for safe keeping. Serve with Corn Chips or Corn Bread for a satisfying, belly-warming meal. :)
