I got this recipe in a bag of flour in 1955 and have never used any other. It is so easy; and, you can start it after breakfast and have it for lunch. My children loved having this warm from the oven and buttered at lunch time. this can be made in two small pans and bake for 30 minutes.
This is so easy and so good. This can be made early in the day and refrigerated until ready to bake. It is an alternative to spoon bread. I have been making this since 1955. My children did not like spoon bread and when I made this they loved it. It has replaced spoon bread for us.
This oh so easy pie is rich and creamy tasting. And can be made low cal by using sugar free and fat free ingredients and still taste rich and creamy. Made with five ingredients and are easy to keep on hand for a sudden urge for a good easy and delicous coconut pie.
This recipe came from a cookbook by the Officers Wives Club at Elgin Air Force Base in Nov. 1960. I have been using it for nearly 50 years and its still a winner. Easy to prepare and can be made ahead of time and heated up at dinner time.
