This is too simple...but it works! Honey! That is it!! I use this primarily in the winter when my skin tends to start drying. Add a drop or 2 of essential oils and your hair smells good. Lemon juice could be optional

    Recipe #269513

I love stupid, easy household tricks! I found that after using this method, the dust seems to settle and not fly around once disturbed....which makes clean up a snap!

    Recipe #401480

I hate flies....period! What I hate most are those pesky fruit flies that seem to love to dive bomb right in front of your face. We had a particularly bad year for these little devils that I found this method quite satsfying to see it work!!!

    Recipe #398728

I found this recipe on Pinterest and adapted it to suit my needs. The vinegar does evaporate into the air leaving a nice clean smell! Try different essential oils (eg: Sandalwood/Orange, Lemon/Tea Tree, Geranium/Orange/Sandlewood would be nice combinations)

    Recipe #494561

Excellent garnish for pies, cakes, tarts...whatever your fancy! It tasts like a light Devon Cream. Weight Watcher friendly = 1 point

    Recipe #452190

I love stupid easy recipes, and this is one goes definately to the top of the list!!! An easy way to get rid of that pesky silk from corn on the cob!!

    Recipe #387330

I have windows....lots of windows, and I hated cleaning them as they would always streak with commercial window cleaner and papertowel. Well, I got this idea from Fauve and her recipe for cleaning carpets. I cut the recipe down as I did not have a container big enough. After cleaning my carpets (and I might add, her recipe cleaned a whole lot better than the commercial stuff!!!), I used the rest of the solution on my granit counters. They came out sparkling. So onto the windows....and not a streak! So, it went from windows, cleaning mirrors, even stovetop....anything that needs to shine!!! Move over Windex....I have something better!!!

    Recipe #291302

I got this rub from August's Bon Appetit magazine. I used it on Beer Can chicken and spareribs. Both came out really tasty. This is a "bold, in-your-face rub"

    Recipe #505773

I found this cocktail recipe in the Food & Drink Magazine that is distributed by the Ontario liquor stores. As I always have maple syrup and ice wine on hand, I will be trying this one soon. The name alone appealed to me!!!

    Recipe #307227

I love pepper and I tend to use alot in my cooking!!!! My girlfriend found this gourmet pepper blend and payed big $ for it!! I went home and got inspired and came up with this blend, using my Magic Bullet to grind the spices. I found the perfect "salt and pepper pig" to hold my blend, so when cooking, one good pinch of pepper equals about 1/4 tsp. I feel cool like Emeril..throwing my salt and pepper into the dish...(only I don't use as much salt as he does!!! lol!!)

    Recipe #417225

I have particularly sensitive skin and I have to be very careful what I put on my skin. I make my own soaps, lotions and bath stuff, so this goes to show what extent I have to go to get "normal" skin. This toner started out for being just used on the face, but quickly became an all purpose body toner. I find that I can use just the toner and not have to use any face cream afterwards (and that has never been an option for me before) We were recently in Hawaii and I would use this if I got too much sun (which was every day!!) and I am prone to sand fly bites. With other homopathic pills that I was taking, this definately helped cut down the amount of fly bites I got. I recently had a bad cold and the toner helped with my poor helpless nose. The toner can be used for after shaving the arm, leg and bikini areas to close the pores and helps prevent rasor burn. It can work as an antiseptic on cuts or open sores...it will just sting a bit. I just love it when something "works"....especially for me!!

    Recipe #360779

Apple Cider Vinegar helps bring the pH level back to the hair

    Recipe #319582

Strictly for the garlic lovers out there!!! This is the best! Fresh parmesan is a must....but I have used the grated that you can find in the deli departments. Excellent on french bread, veggies and potatoes.

    Recipe #210410

Made with milk and yogurt, this is a nice treat in the morning

    Recipe #363475

Smoothies are so easy to create with milk, mixed frozen fruit, yogurt and some protein powder. I made mine a bit different by using yogurt drinks. I like the fact that you can drink this smoothie without having to use a straw (or spoon!!) and the frozen fruit act like ice cubes, so this helps prevent brain freeze

    Recipe #363620

You can use any size round of brie--just adjust the ingredients to fit the round. I use my trusty toaster oven to cook the brie.

    Recipe #219160

I modified this recipe to suite my needs and was thrilled that I could find something to help calm the stomach down. This would be perfect for the person who has problems with stomach cramping or that person who slightly indulged in that spicy meal!!!

    Recipe #392760

I served this over butter lettuce, cherry tomatoes, fresh mozarella cheese and crasins. Yummy!!!

    Recipe #498064

This is my version of Lipton's Diet Lemon Green Tea drink, without all that sodium!!! I always seem to have a drink going and I really hate drinking plain water, so I figure I might as well get some extra benefits by drinking green tea with all those wonderful oxidents. I have to watch my sugar intake, so I purposely made it low in sugar...but this can be flavored to personal preference. I literally make a jug of this each day and go through the whole thing. Serve this hot or cold

    Recipe #361955

Toss this tangy dressing with romaine lettuce and shredded radicchio to serve along side grilled steak. I like this particularly over freshly roasted beets. Yum!
