Funky little way to serve 6 individual cheesecakes with either fresh fruit or the topping of your choice. I have used Strawberry Marmalade 223183 and Light Blueberry Sauce 62315 for toppings that have worked out very well. They're also delicious topped with berry jam.
Delish soup!! Don't forget to use the parmesan cheese and the lemon wedge...it totally made the soup spectacular!!! To make it simpler, use peeled garlic you get in a bag from Costco. I roasted a tray of garlic, use what I needed and the rest went into the freezer. You can also freeze cloves of garlic to use in soup, stews, etc..
It sounds like a weird combination....but it actually works really well! I served this over butter lettuce, cherry tomatoes and avocado....which we all devoured!!! The egg yolk will thicken the dressing. Directions are included on how to pasteurize the egg.
This is probably one of the best pork tenderloin dishes I have ever had!!! To keep the meat moist and tender, the tenderloins are first subjected to a salt bath or brining...then finished off on the barbecue with a sweet and spicy hoisin glaze.
I had never roasted peaches before. Was I ever missing out on a treat!!! The crumble alone is great on yogurt or ice cream. Other seasonal fruits such as apricots, plums, nectarines, apples or pears could be used instead of the peaches.
I had never had made lamb this way before, so I was pleasantly suprised with the results from this mustard crust! My DH said that this was one of the best lamb dishes he has tasted! This can be made up ahead of time, so will save a lot of last minute cooking!
A lovely, refreshing salad for those hot summer days you don't want to cook. Serve with a bagauette and that makes a complete supper! Citrus fruit can be substituted for the watermelon until it is in season and mint for the cilantro
This recipe is so simple to put together, but people think you have laboured over it. I leave my ice cream canister in my freezer during the summer months for quick and easy desserts. Roasting the strawberries really brings out the delicious flavour of the strawberries and makes this sherbet pop!!!
From the August 3013 magazine. When checking the eggs for doneness, lift the lid just a crack to prevent loss of steam should they need further cooking. When cooked, the thin layer of white surrounding the yolk will turn opaque, but the yolk should remain runny. To cook two eggs, use a 8 - 9" non-stick skillet and half the amounts of oil and butter. You can use this method with extra large or jumbo eggs without altering the timing
