I threw this together last night and hubby has requested again tonight! I served it with Rice a Roni's Cheesy Broccoli Rice in a circle around the salad.

    Recipe #439513

This is something I threw together today and want to post it here for future reference.

    Recipe #438976

My Mom made these every year at Christmas time. These are a family favorite. For the filling - be sure to test it to make sure it is whipped properly. A good test it to feel it between your thumb and finger - if it is still grainy, it needs to be whipped a little longer. You can make the sour milk, by adding a little bit of vinegar to it.

    Recipe #349338

I received this recipe off a neighbor about 14 years ago. At that time we lived in Washington State. These are the only pb cookies I really like because it isn't dry and it isn't an overpowering pb taste.

    Recipe #349336

Found this in a military commissary magazine, Dec. 2008.

    Recipe #346257

Found in a military commissary magazine. I've not yet tried this, but it looks interesting enough. I think I'd prefer it in a wrap.

    Recipe #346247

Found this recipe in a military commissary magazine, December 2008. I've not tried this myself, but it looks yummy.

I got this recipe from a friend in Hawaii. She made some incredible spare ribs using this baste. These are minimal instructions, but it's all I have. Cooking time is approximate. Put here for safe keeping.

    Recipe #293345

This is a twist on the regular cole slaw. A friend of ours in Hawaii made this for us. It's great when served with ribs. Stored here for safe keeping.

    Recipe #292984

Great cookies for a cold winter night. I only make these on special occasions. I got this out of an old Working Mother's magazine.

    Recipe #292812

    Recipe #290973

Before I forget what I did, I'm posting it here. These are a mix of a couple different recipes already posted on Zaar. Thank you!

    Recipe #290969

The Sage Cafe at Barona Valley Ranch serves this Fry Bread between the hours of 5 and 11 PM. It is OUTSTANDING. Hands down it is the best fry bread I've ever eaten. Top with honey, butter and/or powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar and you'll swear you're eating manna from heaven. We like it so much we asked for the recipe and were quite pleasantly surprised that they freely hand it out! So - here it is, I'm sharing it with you. Enjoy! ETA: You may need to add a tiny bit more water to this, make sure it is hot. Also, don't roll too thin, or they'll fry up crispier than they should.

    Recipe #290429

I got this out of my JC Penny/United Way Cookbook 1996. I've made this several times when the boys were younger - they loved it and they loved helping decorate them.

    Recipe #284212

My youngest son prefers his BBQ chicken made like this.

    Recipe #284156

I got this out of a 1988 local newspaper recipe booklet. They are quite yummy and travel well. The yeast is a standard packet of yeast. I guessed at the servings and the active and passive work times - it's been a couple years since I've made them.

    Recipe #284141

I got this from my JC Penny/United Way Cookbook, 1996. These are really yummy and look very pretty. I haven't made them in years, but maybe I'll make them this year for church refreshment time!

    Recipe #284015

I used Mom's chili recipe and added a few things of my own over the years. I put it together in the crock pot the night before, throw it in the fridge (just the crock), then before leaving for work the next morning I put the crock in the base, plug it in and it's yummy when I get home.

    Recipe #279016

This is a recipe from Taste of Home. I am putting it here for safe keeping.
