I got some tatuma in my last plentiful bag selection and decided we might as well give it a shot. They are pretty similar to a zucchini except without as many seeds and a little sweeter. You can substitute zucchini if you don't have tatuma.
I got this recipe from one of my friends in small group that shared it with us one evening. Tasty and light. Similar to a pozole. Delicious without the fat. You can add some cornstarch at the end to thicken it up :)
We had some leftover marinated steak last night and some peppers to use up. I'm sure there is more we could come up with on it...so if you try it, please tell me if you have suggestions! Preparation time is if you are starting from scratch with the marinade for the steak.
