This is a recipe I found at a grocery store so many many years ago. Its a favorite and the combinations are endless. If I wanted a sunday breakfast special, this is what I would serve and the left overs heat up wonderfully in the microwave. This is made in steps, so I listed the ingredients in the order you will need them. You can change up the meat, the cheese type and add other vegetables. You can prepare this the night before and just bake in the morning.

    Recipe #362253

This is a recipe from the Eating Better Cookbook. My daughter loves this and insists every week that I make it. I hope you like it. If you use thin cut chicken breast or pound out your chicken breast reduce the total cooking time to 35-40 minutes.

This is another great recipe from the Patti LaBelle cookbook. It is simple, easy and great tasting comfort food. I usually skip the water and double the beef broth. Also for extra richness I will add some red wine to the sauce before putting in the oven.

This is a Pampered Chef recipe that is wonderful! I usually make a large enough chicken or double the recipe to make Chicken Chili the next day.

    Recipe #240213

This is from Chef Curtis Stone (Take home Chef). I made this for my parents tonight and they loved it. A little different from the norm, but made the occassion so special. Try not to over freeze.

This was made out of hunger and the need to clear out my cupboards before grocery shopping with my daughter. Needless to say, she just went into the kitchen to make seconds.

This is a meat and gravy dish taught to me by my late grandfather. This is excellent over egg noodles or rice. I never measure with this recipe, so time and amounts are up to the chef. The left overs are even better!

This is originally from the Patty LaBelle cookbook slightly tweeked. Excellent comfort food and the gravy it makes is delicious on mashed potatoes.

This is from top secret recipes. I use this blend for my southwest seasoning and it is excellent on sauteed scallops in butter. It is so versatile that I look for recipes to use this seasoning.

This is a great side dish. I usually make this size batch for my small family of 2, yet my 14 year old always manages to finish the entire batch before I have a chance to save the leftovers.

This started on the quest of a great copy cat recipe of TGI Friday's Black Bean Soup that they took off their menu. With the help of my daughter we managed to mix what we liked from different recipes to make this great flavorful and spicy recipe. This is a great soup or can be used as a dip. Serve with chips or tortilla's and you have a tasty and complete meal. This is spicy so you might need to adjust some of the seasoning to your taste.

I tried a few recipe's to make this and combined the flavors I liked from all of them and found this really easy and yummy recipe. An electric can opener is handy with this recipe.
