Re-created this after eating out one time in a fabulous restaurant and asked the chef for the ingredients!

    Recipe #195687

This is a great jam sponge for people on the go who like the taste of a home prepared sponge to a shop bought one, and even though this is so simple and quick it really tastes like you've spent hours preparing it! Use any flavor jam you fancy! Have done the quantity to serve two but adjust as you need to.

    Recipe #195580

I like this because of the cheese crust you get on top - a different way to serve up your mashed potatoes! A must for all cheese lovers.

    Need I say any more?

    Recipe #194733

I was served this by an old friend but never forgot how great it tasted, and have never been able to re-create it until by chance, meeting them again and insisting on having this oh-so-simple recipe for the best cabbage I have ever eaten!

A wonderful alternative to mashed potato (great for carb cutters) but equally as great as a side dish with any meal, I tend to add a little grated cheese sometimes too! Enjoy!

These are unbelievable! I love sausage and mash and this is a favorite of mine, the longer you cook it the thicker the sauce gets so cook according to your taste. I have also made this marmalade to eat cold with cheese and crackers instead of a pickle - delish either way.

    Recipe #193505

Just a little something different to do with your mash! Makes for a talking point and the kids will love it! I did these the other day for a Halloween dinner and called them Ghostly Mashed Potato, whatever you call it--it makes a change from regular mashed potato.

This recipe never fails if there is enough sauce. You can't go wrong. If it looks like there's too little liquid just add more water, vinegar and tomato sauce.

Just a really nice combination that i think works with nearly any main dish. Or try it by itself with just the potatoes some sweet chili dipping sauce and sour cream!

This is a variation to a recipe I found on this site but I have to say this one is much better due to the fact I have an excuse to finish off the wine!!! The cheese oozes out to make the sauce, yumm! I serve this with my Recipe #192107 and some carrots too. Adjust the quantities to suit yourselves.

    Recipe #192105

This is just a simple, very quick and quite stunning looking salad that i concocted last minute en route to a BBQ - everyone asked who had brought the salad that day as it was so colourful and tasty! I thought I would share to give inspiration to those looking for a simple yet visually pleasing and yummy salad alternative. You can use any mixed leaf salad you like and i prefer the baby plum tomatoes on the vine!

    Recipe #185400

Was looking for a simple yet impressive Key Lime recipe and this one ticked all the boxes! All plates were cleared with no leftovers - need I say more?

This is the best cheese scone recipe I have ever ever eaten! Prize winning for sure! A friend's husband adapted this recipe and the only suggestion I have is to add a little more cheese if you're a cheese-a-holic like me--I can never have too much cheese! You have to try these.

    Recipe #174234

This is a fabulous recipe given to me by my partners Mum - i use 6 oz as i like it sharp but 8 oz is very good if you like it sweeter too, so easy to make and delicious.

    Recipe #480445

SO EASY! I found this recipe in a near by village shop along side the locally produced "Traklements Onion Marmalade" but i have used all sorts of onion marmalade and all turn out to be really good but you must use the red wine as this just makes it! Add red wine as desired - I prefer it to onion gravy with my sausages and mash!

    Recipe #436820

Nothing to say really but tried and tested this recipe and loved it so sharing! I love rhubarb, and this comes out great every time - a simple pudding that tasted really good! Try it!

    Recipe #436814

Just thought i would share this recipe for meringue that a friend gave me as it is simple and always turns out great - this does enough for two meringue pavlova bases.

My family and friends love this golden fish pie with a sweet potato topping, it’s also much healthier than some other fish pie’s as there is no cream or cheese but it is just as, if not, even more tasty….the bacon makes it! A complete meal in a dish and it’s packed with nutrients….perfect with a nice dry white wine too!!

    Recipe #376604

A posh version of fish pie, but extra yummy!! You can use mussels with the prawns, mix and match as you would like. You will need a 3 pint capacity dish for this.
