    I think everyone has their favorite way to prepare apple crisp, this is how I like it! I don't like added sugar with the apples, so the apples tend to be a bit drier than with other crisp recipes. The topping has more oats that many other recipes.

    My grandmother makes this at all our holiday gatherings. I personally don't like sweet potatoes with marshmallows, this is a great alternative. I know there are a gazillion sweet potato casserole recipes, but I like this one, and am posting it for safe-keeping.

    There was great little Italian restaurant in my neighborhood. They used to send out a newsletter with recipes, and this is one of my favorite dishes from this restaurant. This is best served immediately. Cooking times are estimated, as I usually go to the restaurant and order it rather than cooking it myself! Unfortunately, the restaurant closed suddenly, so glad I have this recipe!

    This is a great way to sneak whole grains into your diet! From King Arthur Flour Whole Grain Baking, they recommend waiting 24 hours before cutting these, but my DH loves them hot out of the pan. They do seem more moist the second day. I have found that they crumble easily, but taste oh-so-yummy, I can live with the crumbles! Preparation time is estimated.

    Yummy whole grain pancakes. We make these every weekend. Found the recipe in Whole Grain Baking. The orange juice mellows the whole wheat flavor. You can leave it out, but I recommend trying it. It doesn't affect the flavor at all.
