So good you could serve this as a birthday cake, instead of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving , or for company anytime. Or just make it for your own family to enjoy, It's so good you had better hide a few pieces for yourself before it's all gone. The best part of this cake is that you can use whole wheat flour and you will not be able to tell the difference from all purpose flour! Truly truly amazing.

No milk, no butter? How can that possibly taste any good. Taste it and you'll see how! I have to make two of these whenever I have guests, it's that loved. You can easily switch the butternut squash for pumpkin too, that's going to be posted next!

    Recipe #491409

Finally! Here is a delicious moist cupcake without all that fattening and bad for you butter or margarine. This is my favorite "go to" cupcake which I make all the time ( I'm kind of the unofficial Top Chef of cupcakes in my childrens' school, just saying so you understand that these are good!)

Is it possible to have a chicken or turkey burger that tastes better than a beef one? I didn't think so until now. Here's my latest invention without all the extra fat that beef burgers have and so delicious. Please make sure you use an authentic high quality soy sauce. Cheap brands such as Le Choy will not do. Serve with carmelized onions, lettuce, tomato, pickle and your favorite condiment and enjoy!

You don't have to leave this overnight but it works really well if you choose to do so. This is also known as a yapchik, which is basically a potato kugel covering either flanken or a swiss steak. If you prefer no bones, definitely go with the swiss steak which is very tender and delicious and not an expensive cut. I use this recipe for my kugel minus sauteing the onion [Recipe 71313] .

    Recipe #454854

This is for those of you that love Middle Eastern flavors. This is basically my stuffed peppers but without being stuffed. Delicious!

    Recipe #446539

There was an o.k. recipe here on Zaar that I have worked on and changed to make these truly amazingly rich and chocolatey cupcakes. Don't be scared of the tiny bit of coffee it only deepens the flavor of the chocolate. These don't require any frosting but the kids love it with frosting and some colored sprinkles so that's what I typically do. I like to use my lazy version of Recipe #19353 (a little bit of this, a little bit of that) and they always look and taste wonderful. As an added bonus this has no shortening, butter, or margarine (all those bad trans-fats) but amazingly enough they still taste fattening.

Not a fish person? This one will change your mind, it's to die for! We had this dish made for us by a Moroccan friend of ours and it was so good I couldn't quite let anyone take my dish away. I had to get up and clear the table myself so I could have an excuse to enjoy it down to the last drop in the kitchen (it never happened of course because a Moroccan meal just gets better and better); this sauce is just delicious! Thank you Miri S.!

Well, that's me the lazy chef. Lazy of course does not mean it doesn't taste good. I just like getting food out fast and sitting with my guests instead of slaving in the kitchen all day. So for those of you who don't feel like piping out the egg yolk mixture you can put out delicious eggs in minutes the easy way.

    Recipe #359734

I've had many latkes in my life, those made with matzah meal, with flour, all sorts of vegetables, and they're all good but last year I decided to make mine with potato starch and OMG! They were so much better than anything I ever had so try these and remember to stock up on potato starch at Passover time as it has a very long shelf life. I don't give salt measurements as potatoes are never exact so start out by making one latke and add more salt to the next one if needed, just don't skimp on it as the salt and pepper really give it the great taste. If you choose to shred your potatoes instead of grating make sure your flame is on medium low or it won't cook thoroughly. You can also expect a lot of liquid to accumulate. Just be sure to stir everything well before frying each batch and leave the liquid behind.

I've eaten many eggs in my life and no matter where I've been, catered breakfasts, friends, family I have never tasted eggs the way I make them. My family is always telling me they'd rather have mine, so I have finally decided to add my two cents and give some pointers on this simple art. For making eggs I recommend using the oil even though butter tastes better as butter tends to burn off quickly and your eggs will scorch.

I definitely recommend doubling this recipe as it is so good that you won't have a kernel left. If you are serving this to kids you don't have to put in the red onion and if you have trouble finding sour pickles a deli will always sell you some sour pickle juice if you just ask.

    Recipe #331097

When DH and I were dating we used to eat at a wonderful little restaurant called Maabhat that had this amazing bean soup that we both loved. Well I finally decided to duplicate it and this is my version. Unlike most Yemenite soups that call for hawaaj, this recipe gives the actual spices used; not a blend but if you can find hawaj then use that until the soup tastes just right. The spices given are approximations since I do not measure the amount of water exactly which can affect the taste so add more cumin, cardamom, and salt as needed.

I was reallly suprised to see that there was no other recipe like this here as this is so delicious and a great way to end a meal

    Recipe #329645

I always make this dish for holidays. If it was up to my kids they'd have this dish every week and once any guest tastes this they always want the recipe. Pickled turkeys are widely available in butcher shops in the Northeast U.S. The cooking of the turkey can be made the day before and the sauce made just before serving.

    Recipe #327237

Is it or isn't it? Actually it is a simple mushroom shaped roasted red potato shaped with an inexpensive apple corer and is so much fun to look at and better to eat.

It's so silly to buy babaganoush when from oven to table it'll take you all of five minutes to make and is so delicious. Serve this with some nice crusty bread and watch everyone ask for more. I recommend that you start out with only one clove of garlic and add more according to your taste.

This is a delicious sauce that can be used for meatballs (like with my Recipe #245557 meatball mixture, for all kinds of chicken dishes from grilled to sandwiches, the list goes on but it is always perfect.

Unlike so many Mexican style salads this one won't have any cheese congealing in your plate because there isn't any and you won't miss it! I make this dish for parties and company lunches all the time because it is served at room temperature and I can make it ahead of time and quickly layer it right before we eat. This is a delicious recipe which is constantly being passed along.

If you've never liked hummus that's because you only bought that yucky store bought "stuff". Stay away from that and serve this on nice warm crusty bread and watch everyone's faces in delight! I always add more lemon juice, garlic, and salt to my tastes.
