DH came home with this recipe from a work function, so it must of been good . .Basic ingredrients for a cheesecake but thought I would post, as it truly is a lovely dessert. Can be quite sweet, depending on yor taste, so you dont need much per serving, but it never lasts long around here. Real yummy served with raspberries

    Recipe #350276

A rather large, light and reasonably moist cake. Originally this recipe was given to me as Mary's Wedding Cake, but I have changed it to a Christmas cake. Every year I make this one plus a different one, (I love experimenting). but every year the family still likes the original one from way back. Will I ever learn. If you desire a moist cake continue to "soak" the cake every few days with sherry

When the climate is hot over Christmas, hot puddings are omitted from our menu. Instead we have a frozen version. It is quick, and can be prepared well in advance leaving you free to enjoy Christmas as it should be. You can be as heavy handed with the brandy as you like.

I have used this every year at Christmas, and they are snatched up by both vegetarians and non-vegetarian's alike. They don't last long.

A recipe I have made many, many times, either as patties or as large burgers to have as vegetarian burgers. You can make it as spicy as you like. I usually make up large quantities and place them in the freezer to have on hand as required. I love it served with plum sauce.

    Recipe #46208

Soooo easy, so versatile, and so handy. The humble onion. Serve as a vegetable dish with a barbeque, or just as an additional vegetable to the evening meal.

    Recipe #28428

I used to serve this, when the boys were young. They would come home "proud as punch" with their catch of "spotties", a small edible fish but not with much flavour. It was more a matter of quantity not quality. The ingredients of this dish are stronger than the taste of the fish, thus an ideal way to use up the "prized " catch. Easy to make and inexpensive.

I love couscous, and what could be more easier to make, than this for last minute barbeque invitations or pot luck dinners. Eat and enjoy. Could substitute rice for couscous.
