A rich and creamy pasta dish, with mushrooms, navy beans, peas and parsley!

    Recipe #343293

Yummy granola made with whatever I have on hand at the time! Basic recipe from Ina Garten, but I toss in all kinds of fruits and nuts. Our friend Bill cannot keep his hands out of it and I always send him home with a bag to snack on! The first time I made it, it looked like alot so I used 2 sheet pans! Big mistake! Just pile it on one, and do not overbake it...it will seem "soft" when you take it out, but will "crisp up" as it cools! I bag it up in snack size servings,...and larger bags for Bill! Freezes well, and great on yogurt, ice cream, cereal or just out of hand.

    Recipe #263735

An extremely hearty, aromatic and very flavorful rustic type soup/stew. My dear big brother has developed this recipe over the years by adding & subtracting ingredients and perfecting his version! I'm honored that I was able to persuade him to write out and share the recipe! It's a stick-to-your-ribs meal in itself but be sure to serve with crusty peasant bread and a big salad! Nothing subtle about THIS "stoup"! I do believe he adapted this recipe from some of the soups and stews our mother and grandmother made (both restaurateurs)-and that may account for the quantity!!!

    Recipe #257529

From a friend who obtained it from a famous diet Doctor. Eat 6 cookies throughout the day along with 6 oz. fish or chicken, 2 cups veggies and a salad for dinner. Use diet for one month and you can expect a 15 lb. weight loss. I tried them and they are tasty but would add maybe add 1/2 cup of Spenda and more spices next time! They DO fill you up!! Can't vouch for weight loss yet but sounds like it will work!!!

    Recipe #182155

Delicious dessert on a cookie dough crust. Simulate a round pepperoni pizza or make a rectangular red/white & blue "flag" for the 4th of July! Have fun with this edible art, Christmas can be all red and green fruit...just tint the "sauce" green and shape the dough into a tree form on a cookie sheet before baking. Imagination is the key here...that AND a delicious dessert! It can be made using Fat Free cream cheese, fat free sour cream and SPLENDA to make a lower calorie version for dieter's and diabetics.
