This isn't terribly fancy, but it's quick when I get a craving. The measurements are estimated--make to taste.

    Recipe #170125

I got this recipe from my Bavarian host mother, but later a Hungarian dorm mate said it smelled like home, so I guess it must be close enough to authentic! These measurements are estimated--my host mother was a great cook who never had to measure. I like to add more paprika at the end, so that the dish is really orange.

    Recipe #168072

My mom's recipe. It tends to mold easily, so should be refrigerated after one day. You can also make muffins--reduce baking time to 10-15 minutes.

    Recipe #167925

This is a straight-forward and simple Lasagne recipe that I make with lower-fat dairy products. You can certainly substitute pre-grated cheese and skip grating it yourself. Sometimes I substitute ricotta for the cottage cheese, or use some combination of the two.

    Recipe #166940

This is a slight variation on a Joy of Cooking recipe. I never have buttermilk on hand, and it doesn't seem worth buying a whole carton for one recipe, so I always use milk and lemon juice.

    Recipe #166902

This is the recipe my mom always uses for enchiladas, and nothing else compares for me! This also can be prepared ahead of time, as it freezes well and can be warmed up in the oven when you need a quick meal.
