For anyone who has never tried to make mac and cheese before.

    Recipe #298020

Something I found in a magazine. 14 April, 2008: I've put in Romano cheese, but it's the same cheese as Pecorino. I just mentioned it in the listing since that's the name Pecorino Romano is most commonly known by worldwide. TY Beautiful BC for pointing that out.

    Recipe #297525

This is one of the few ways I will eat spinach. The original recipe (in a magazine) calls for just 4 slices of bacon.

    Recipe #297422

A very quick and very easy pasta recipe.

    Recipe #297420

A pasta recipe that's on my 'to-try-in-the-immediate-future' list (and it's quite a list, trust me).

    Recipe #296759

A friend of mine once prepared this for lunch and I loved it. I asked her for the recipe and I was surprised at how quick and easy it was to prepare. I believe she got the recipe from a weekly magazine.

    Recipe #296741

This is something I came up with one day when I wanted a different kind of flat bread from what I normally make. I have even substituted chopped fresh coriander leaves for the mint when I wanted a slightly different taste. Preparation time mentioned includes the time the dough needs to be kept aside. Notes: Add the milk a little at a time to avoid ending up with a big, sticky mess (remember, there's the yoghurt too and it will add moisture to the dough). The discs can be brushed with a little water while frying if you feel the surface is getting too dry or crispy.

    Recipe #295926

I would recommend using Kashmiri chilli powder (available at most International food outlets) for this recipe because they are known for the lovely reddish-orange color they give the gravy and besides that it is not overly spicy either. This recipe takes a while to prepare. Preparation and cooking time mentioned does not include the time required for the chicken to marinate. To prepare in advance, you can marinate the chicken the day before and keep it over-night in the refrigerator. To prevent the cream from curdling, do not boil the gravy for too long after adding the cream. Note: Serve with an Indian flat bread like naan, or with steamed long-grain rice.

    Recipe #293759

Another vegetarian North Indian favorite. The red chilli powder referred to is made of dry Kashmiri chillies. Serve with yoghurt or a spicy Indian pickle.

    Recipe #289996

Just a little something I found in a magazine.

    Recipe #289995

If you do not have iceberg lettuce on hand, you can substitute it with 600 gms mixed green salad leaves or Boston lettuce. NOTE: To blanch the mushrooms, boil water in a small pot and add salt. Drop the mushrooms in and boil for half a minute. Use a slotted spoon to take the mushrooms out and immediately place them in cold water to freshen and stop the cooking.

    Recipe #289992

An unusual omlette whose recipe I found in a magazine. I am yet to try this one. Quite frankly, I am all for a more... uhh... conventional omlette.

    Recipe #289864

NOTE: The sauce can be prepared up to 8 hours in advance, in which case it will need to be refrigerated. Then bring it to room temperature before using it.

    Recipe #289674

A sweet omlette (??). Found this in a magazine and saving it here for safe-keeping. I haven't tried this one yet, and I'm not an expert with ovens, but still the cooking time seems a little 'íffy' to me. Any tips on improving it will be welcomed.

    Recipe #289670

Just a little something I found in a magazine. I am yet to try this. The recipe calls for flavor enhancer sauce. I haven't looked yet, but I am assuming you can find this in an International foods store. 4th March, 2008: The flavor enhancer sauce might be Maggi seasoning (Thank you Happy Hippie C#122878 for the tip).

    Recipe #289667

Just a little something I found in a magazine.

    Recipe #289665

NOTE: To prevent the noodles from sticking to each other, add 1 tbsp of oil to the noodles as they cook.

    Recipe #289662

NOTE: Balsamic vinegar can be substituted for the red grape vinegar.

    Recipe #289654

A medium-spiced lamb dish from Northern India.
