Found this in a magazine. Easy, delicious, kind of a cross between a cobbler and cake, and only 5 ingredients. Original directions dId not specify size cans and boxes, and use butter, but Recipezaar requires you add sizes of each boxes and cans, which I did, but we use margarine, up to you if you prefer butter or margarine.

    Recipe #380058

So easy an 8th grader could do it, but tastes tender, delicious, 8 ingredients, 8 instructions. Definitely good when you need an easy meal. Great when you're tired, and want a good meal.

    Recipe #370316

I love that this is quick & easy, and tastes so good. I first had this on Mother's Day. We had taken my mom out to dinner, and when we got back to her house she had made this for us (we both ate 2 pieces, it's that good). This is a good desert, but also travels well for pot lucks or bake sales, as it's kind of brownieish and has kind of a cheese cakish topping (lol, new words not in the dictionary).

    Recipe #123661

This is a recipe from our family cookbook by Lenore Sprout Vaught. It's my favorite banana bread. I really like it because it's easy to make and is always moist. She reccommends slicing it thin and making sandwiches with cream cheese, then cutting into small pieces, which she says is great for a party. Personally I prefer more walnuts in it; I would put in 1 cup, and prefer almost overripe bananas, as they have a lot of flavor.

    Recipe #123660

This is from our "Sprout" family cookbook, put together by my cousin Vicki, as a labor of love & birthday gift for her mom's 71st birthday. This is one of Vicki's recipes. She says in her notes in our cookbook, "My husband likes this pie so much, he sometimes requests it for his birthday "cake". "My mother-in-law gave the recipe to a friend, who won first prize in a contest for her peach of a pie!" I had it at my mom's yesterday and it was delicious! My mom made this yesterday and simply thought she was just trying a new recipe for desert for a cookout with her and my brother and his family, but it was a cookout AND "surprise" for her 72nd birthday, and a get-together with all of us "kids", with me being almost 2 hours away, her youngest, her only girl, and had because of our schedules I had not been able to see her for several months. Needless to say, she was as delighted to have her kids there, as were we to be able to be there. ;) To me this tastes like a peach cheesecake, and would taste best chilled. It's inexpensive, uses ingredients that most of us keep on hand, and is quick and easy to make! I think this would also satisfy a cheesecake craving without so many calories.

    Recipe #100909

This recipe came from my mom, as I'm having trouble with tomato bugs. She got it out of a gardening magazine. I just tried another homemade bug killer recipe, and will try this and let you know how it does for me, or if anyone would like to try it I'd love to know your results.

    Recipe #64688

Dust to keep worms away from cabbage.

    Recipe #64686

This is my favorite "holiday" broccoli salad recipe. The combination of fresh vegetables, real bacon, eggs and sharp cheddar cheese are what makes it so good.

    Recipe #63656

Good, inexpensive & easy window cleaner!

    Recipe #35297

This is from Vaught's Cooking (my mom's church cookbook). Easy, simple and very good!

    Recipe #35099

This is a simple & easy one from "Vaught's Cooking", my mom's church (Vaught Chapel) cookbook. It's really good, (I add garlic and Italian seasoning to the spaghetti sauce to taste).

    Recipe #35090

    Easy inexpensive one.

    Recipe #35077

This is a Very good hot dog sauce. It makes a lot, so it's handy to freeze in family-size portions and always have sauce for hot dogs. We always have it at cook-outs.

    Recipe #30907

This is another really good recipe (my Aunt Freda's recipe) from our family cookbook. A nice thing about this recipe is that it can be made and forgotten about the day before and needs no last-minute attention.

    Recipe #30708

This is a really good Jello Salad! This is a recipe out of our family cookbook that my cousin Vicki put together as a labor of love for her mom (dad's sister) for her 71st birthday in 1997. (Times are approximate, as I haven't timed how long this takes to make).

    Recipe #30669

This is a Really Good simple broccoli salad. My middle SIL made this for a Memorial Day cook-out, and everyone asked for the recipe. This is also nice to make when you don't have much time.

    Recipe #29549

Refried beans layered with avocados and sour cream, topped with cheese, tomatoes, olives & onions. It's a great party dish & leftovers can be used as burrito filling. The prep time includes time for soaking the beans overnight.

    Recipe #29502

Easy Tender Pressure Cooker Pot Roast

    Recipe #28582

This is a really good three bean salad. I used to make this all the time and I just found it in our family cookbook where I'd submitted the recipe.

    Recipe #28551

This is my youngest Sis-in-law's recipe. These are real simple, but Very Good!
