I love to eat and drink fall’s beautiful and nutritious fresh fruits and vegetables! This delicious seasonal smoothie is bursting with beta-carotene and other important antioxidants like quercitin found in apples. This smoothie tastes great cool or even warmed up for a treat (omit the ice and warm almond milk before adding to blender if making into a hot beverage).

    Recipe #508365

This is not your standard smoothie. Rich in effective immune builders like vitamin C, copper, and iron, blueberries have the highest antioxidant capacity of any fruit. The flax seeds are a great source of omega-3 fats and help to keep you full longer.

    Recipe #507644

I found this recipe on the "Reboot with Joe" website. What is better on a cold day then a bowl of soup!

    Recipe #507637

This recipe is based on a recipe I found on the "Reboot with Joe" website. I made so many modifications based on ingrediants I had on hand, that I now claim it as my own. This is a delicous and healthy recipe! Peaches, almonds and cashews and a little flavor will have you satisfied and full so you will not need to be reaching for the snack drawer! Peaches are a rich source of beta carotene to help improve vision health by increasing circulation of blood in the all body parts. It’s also rich in antioxidants that make them great for skin care to help manage dark circles and wrinkles. Flax Seeds provide healthy fats to our diets in the form of Omega-3′s.

I forgot to take the hamburger out the freezer....what can I make for dinner in a 1/2 hour? These burrito's are so yummy, you will not miss the meat!

    Recipe #471457

This recipe is a revision of seesko's Banana Sour Cream Bread (Oamc) #309946. I modified her recipe to make it healthier and lower in fat. This is the best banana bread that I have ever had! I wanted to post my revisions to get the nutritional information and so that I can remember my changes.

    Recipe #468173

I was making beef barley soup when I realized I didn't have any barley. I ended up substituting brown rice and potato for the barley. The end result was a delicious soup!

    Recipe #465146

I only had 3 (4 ounce) pork loin chops in my freezer and needed to feed four people. So, I came up with the tasty and light soup. Everyone ate it and even went back for seconds (which hardly ever happens!).

    Recipe #464399

I revised the traditional high calorie tater tot casserole that is made with ground beef and lots of cheese. This casserole is made with ground turkey and doesn't include cheese. I also added more veggies!

    Recipe #463579

This is very different and much lighter than the traditional cream of soup versions of tater tot casserole. There is no "cream of xxxx" to be found in this recipe! This tastes more like a taco casserole with tater tots instead of tortilla chips.

    Recipe #459130

I found this recipe in Cooking Light. The marinade is so easy to throw together and it is so delicious! I used dried lemon rind and dried oregano. I cooked the pork on the grill for about 4 minutes on each side.

    Recipe #458336

I found this recipe on the Cooking Light site. It is low-cal and yummy! Three kinds of coconut products—coconut water and milk and cream of coconut—offer the best flavor and texture. Look for coconut water by the fruit juices. For an adult treat, drizzle rum over your serving.

    Recipe #458301

I am the queen of making up casseroles. This one is easy to throw together, and then just throw in the oven.

    Recipe #453770

Recipe from Eating Well. Shredded leftover turkey tops homemade tostadas in this Tex-Mex favorite. Making your own tostada shells from fresh corn tortillas is easier than you might think—crisp them up in the oven while you prepare the toppings. Choose either regular petite diced tomatoes or those with added jalapeños, depending on your inclination for spicy food. Serve with black beans, rice and extra salsa or hot sauce on the side.

    Recipe #445257

This drink was made up by a bunch of friends after we got out of college years ago and could afford the "good" stuff! It tastes just like cream soda, but it is not too sweet (I promise!). Everyone that try's it loves it!

    Recipe #444261

One day, I was rummaging through my refrigerator for something to make for lunch, and I came up with this delicious sandwich. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

    Recipe #441812

I found this recipe on the Bell Plantation website (they make PB2 powdered peanut butter which is only 45 calories for 2 tablespoons!). These are delicious low fat cookies!

    Recipe #439630

I found this recipe on the Bell Plantation website (they make PB2 powdered peanut butter). This is a delicious way to have a typically high fat thai peanut noodles, without all the fat or calories. This is also delicious with cooked chicken or shrimp.

    Recipe #439629

This is a slimmed down version of my family's favorite breakfast casserole. They don't even notice the missed fat a calories!

    Recipe #439615

I made up this recipe one day when I wanted to make something different with ground turkey. This is a favorite in my house!
