This recipe is from my sister in law . I like it to marinate at least 2 days for a nice flavorful steak.As it is sliced thinly one pound of meat goes a long way and there is no waste with a flank steak.
This chile has lots of zip. The heat can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the hot peppers or by using mild Italian sausage. The cinnamon adds a nice flavor.This tastes even better if made a day ahead.
With the warm weather coming I was searching for a different burger recipe. I first thought this sounded really odd with rolled oats in the ingredients but combining it with milk makes for a moist pattie with a great texture.
