Can't remember where I found this recipe, but it is so good. I use bow tie noodles and saute the onions with the sausage. Don't forget to drain the fat!
Shrimp drink in the spicy sauce while they chill. Great appetizer or as a main course. Use fresh ginger.
One of my favorite desserts. The summer berries and the orange crust are delicious. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream
I had a request to add this "Amish" recipe. Can adjust the saffron and milk to make the filling as yellow as egg yolks and very very moist.
This dip will become one of you favorites. Using the microwave makes preparaton easy.
Another easy and delicious unbaked pie. Perfect for those warm days and all those leftover bananas.
Especially good with smoked pork chops or a pork roast. Also wonderful for lunch with homemade corn bread fresh from the oven.
This cake is special...especially for Christmas (like the Waltons, anyone remember?), any holiday or dinner party. Glad I found this recipe again.
Delicious and very moist. Even better the second day.
My favorite cookie to eat with tea. Pure comfort. Wonderful for gifts...if there are any left.
This potato salad is delicious. Took some time to adjust the ingredients. I also leave the skins on the potatoes.
Especially nice in the summer. Garnish with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
A must try. The butter and brown sugar give the cookies a caramel-like taste that is pure heaven when paired with the apricots and white chocolate. Source: The Neighborhood Bakeshop by Jill Van Cleave
Great dish to take along to a dinner party or family gathering.
The carmelized onions make these potatoes so special.
Great on hamburgers, hot dogs or other grilled sandwiches. Add jalapenos for a little spice.
This is one of my favorite recipes for the grill. Serve with fresh fruit and all your favorite summer salads. Leftovers make a wonderful chicken salad.
Ah the flavors of Greece. Such a wonderful sandwich. Enjoy!
Very moist and tender.
A colorful dish to round out any menu. Perfect with chicken.
