I use this recipe all the time, quick and always tasty. Perfect base for lasagna, bolognaise and stirred into any pasta makes a great meal.

    Recipe #457618

So easy to make for a light lunch or snack. I serve this on toast or crackers, and have even had it on a jacket potato as a main meal. Sardines in tomato sauce also works well.

    Recipe #301640

Perfect for camping when in need of a quick and easy meal. My Nan's creation remembered from our many holidays.

This is a lovely thick and healthy soup. A good way to add fruit and vegetables to your diet. Add garlic if wanted. I used to fry the onion, and garlic when I used it, in a little olive oil before adding the other ingredients, but I found it makes no real difference to the flavour. Serve with crusty bread and butter or cream cheese.

    Recipe #188982

I serve this wrapped in Chinese Pancakes Recipe #172751. Also great with rice or noodles. If there is time marinade the chicken in the ginger, honey and soy sauce for 30 - 60 minutes. I like the sauce to be very thick, but if you don't add 1/2 rather than 1 tbls of cornflour.

    Recipe #176243

Great for picnics and quick and easy to make. I sometimes add a tsp of coarse grain mustard to the honey. Leave out the cooked chicken for a vegetarian version.

I love this, and always feel I'm getting some much needed fruit and veg into my diet. Serve with crusty bread or on its own.

I had this in Greece and begged for the recipe to no avail. This is my version. I tend to allow the chicken to marinade overnight so that it is more tender and full of flavour. I serve them with green salad, tzatziki and bread. Great for a BBQ.

Quick and full of flavour, it is missing something though, I'll keep trying. An amalgamation of various recipes. Use green beans instead of sugar snap peas if you can't get them.

    Recipe #167877

(Don't bother making these)I tried these again and they are no good. Add spices depending on what you are serving them with, I add a pinch of cayenne pepper. They go well with salsa and sour cream. You probably wont use all the breadcrumbs, but it is always better to have too much than not enough!

Had this at a friends and loved it. Extremely filling for a sandwich. You can always substitute sausages for the bacon.

Serve with Jacket potatoes, or mash and peas. I made this for unexpected guests with little time to prepare, it went down a treat.

Goes well with almost anything. A variation on a recipe card I've had for years.

    Recipe #164125

Great for picnics and BBQs. Goes well with meat, fish or veg. Is best served at room temperature but is fine after refrigeration. Adding dried mint is particularly nice when serving lamb.

    Recipe #164047

Easy and filling, serve with veg of your choice.

I made this today and was thrilled with the result. The sauce also goes well with vanilla ice-cream. This is the only sponge recipe I've tried that actually rises.

    Recipe #163671

Is particularly nice served as part of a roast dinner. If you prefer very soft brocolli cook first.
