This is a variation on my Only Bran Pancakes (#190871). It's not as strict on the diet, but still doesn't use any flour, and much more fluffy and buttery! I used a half oat and half wheat bran mixture. (Prep time is only to prepare the batter.)

    Recipe #283999

This is my BF's pancake recipe for his diet. It came from a book by a French nutritionist Docteur Pierre Dukan, but the proportions have been tweaked a little to suit his taste. They're surprisingly yummy and have helped me lower my blood pressure!

    Recipe #190871

It's "only bran" because there's no flour in the recipe. My BF was following a diet by a French nutritionist Docteur Pierre Dukan, and the only carb he could eat was bran, so using other bran muffin recipes as inspiration, I finally settled on this one. I have surprisingly received compliments from other dinner guests (even during my experimentation phase), so I thought I'd post my finalized recipe.

    Recipe #190674

I had celery and other leftover veggies in my fridge that I had to use. Frankly, I'm not too fond of celery, so I cooked them well in a stew like fashion. It ended up being very tastey, both hot and cold. It was even good on crackers with cheese (kinda like Bruchetta) so my boyfriend insisted I post the recipe to share his delight! I'm guessing most measurements and tried my best to remember the directions accruately, since I cooked this ad lib.
