This is a wonderful variation on the traditional lasagna with the added healthy benefits of spinach. I like to use whole wheat pasta and grilled chicken breast. When you can't get them to eat their spinach just serve up some of this great lasagna!

    Recipe #281377

This is a quick and easy green bean recipe that take about 5 minutes to cook and uses canned green beans but taste like they've been cooked all day.

    Recipe #366000

These are the best waffles I've ever made. This recipe was adapted from RecipeZaar but I had to modify because I couldn't find one that I liked.

    Recipe #364269

I got this recipe out of the Fast & Easy Weight Watchers cookbook. It doesn't even taste like it's "lite" ANYTHING!! My whole family loves it and it's a request even when extended family comes for a visit.

    Recipe #283707

I got this recipe when I worked at the school. One of the teacher brought it for our breakfast potluck. I've fixed this for several different occasion and it was always a hit. Prep time does not include overnight refrigeration.

    Recipe #284019

This is a recipe that I tried at Sam's Wholesale when they were giving out samples of crackers. It's super-easy and really tasty. Servings are a guess.

    Recipe #284028

This is a recipe from my Pastor's wife, who moved here from Louisiana. I have tweaked it a bit to suit my family's taste. Definitly a family favorite.

    Recipe #281967

This is NOT your traditional mole but still has a very authentic "mexican" flavor. I do not like the chocolate in traditional mole recipes and this one adds a bit of peanut butter which makes it more of a "Pollo con Guisada" or Mexican chicken with gravy which I tend to say is a chicken version of "Carne Guisada" or mexican beef/w gravy. I was taught how to make this by a very dear friend about 20 years ago. We have since parted ways and she is no longer in my life but NEVER far from my thoughts and ALWAYS in my heart.

    Recipe #281965

This is one of the first recipes that I made off the top of my head when I was learning to cook as a newlywed 25 years ago. I've tweaked it a bit since then and now it's a family favorite. I have found that you can buy a ready cooked rotisserie chicken to save time or use leftover chicken. I use a food processor to make chopping the veggies much easier.

    Recipe #281764

This is a heavenly addition to any meal. I usually serve it with steak or any kind of pork. Would also be good as an alternative to candied yams for the holidays.

    Recipe #372254

This is a copy cat recipe that I have adapted for our family's liking. You can also substitute ranch mixed with the salsa (instead of the mayo mixture) to top your chicken before you cover with cheese.

    Recipe #363785

This is a quick and easy chili recipe that I came up with several years ago. We serve it over mashed potatoes like my husband's family when he was growing up. But you can serve it by itself or over french fries. YUM!!

    Recipe #283205

My Grandma used to make this when I was growing up. It's delish! You can use any type of filling that you prefer...doesn't have to be the nut filling.

    Recipe #363775

This recipe is a favorite with my whole family and very easy to put together.

    Recipe #283217

This recipe is super easy and super quick(compared to the common method). I use an electric pressure cooker so I'm not sure how it will work with a stove top pressure cooker(I worry that it may scorch) but with this method you have no worries of scorching with an electric presure cooker. FABULOUS!!! I am including altered instructions at the bottom for a chunkier apple butter which I prefer to the smoother version.

    Recipe #350897

This recipe is one that my hubby came up with when I was out of town. Super easy and definitly a keeper. Both of my daughters begged for the recipe when they first got married. The soy sauce gives it just the right amount of salty flavor and the jalapenos give it just the right amount of kick.

    Recipe #281543

I modified this recipe from "Chili Pepper" magazine January 2008. This was originally a topping for Creole Cream Cheese but I have used it for an ice cream topping and it is SUPERB!! You can also add a cobbler crust on top and make a great peach cobbler with a "KICK"!

    Recipe #283161

I remember when I was a little girl and my dad told me that drinking warm milk would help me sleep better. Well..this recipe really does relax you and releases that melatonin.

    Recipe #366221

Wonderful rich chili recipe that I got from a pillsbury slow cooker cookbook. I modfied this to suit our family.
