I love figuring out what's in the packaged foods that I like. This should be easy enough for even the most novice cook.

    Recipe #32363

Want to impress at the next family dish to pass, here is just to thing. This is sweet and savory. I also like to use it as a condiment on steak.

    Recipe #61388

I had such a hard time finding instructions on how to make plain artichokes, I thought that I would share. This is no thriller, but it is basic.

    Recipe #61001

This is a twist on the old pasta and steak dinner. Instead of refined pasta and meat, though, there is wholesome wholegrain barley and a delicious vegetarian burger. (Don't roll those eyes, if you cook them the right way they are crispy and delicious!) I use Mother's brand quick cooking barley, Muir Glen Organic brand Italian Herb Pasta Sauce, and Boca Burgers

    Recipe #188119

If you like salsa and you like barbecue sauce this will really thrill you. It is great as a dip, topping, or sandwich relish. I like it in a sandwich with a veggie burger or scrambled eggs, and as a topping for meatloaf. It should be mentioned that this is a fresh 'pico de gallo' style salsa and should be kept refrigerated and used within a few days since it is not preserved.

    Recipe #207239

This is a strong yet pleasant dessert cocktail. I like to sip it, but my hubby feels that faster is better due to the strong flavor--to each their own.

    Recipe #207882

This marinade originated in Korea. It is sweet and salty. Very satisfying and even the most anti-Asian food people will eat it if you call it something like 'hot jerky' or what ever.

    Recipe #17381

Very spicy and strong, this is a real 'Old Wives' type of cold/flu remedy. The more spicy and strong you make it the better it seems to work on head congestion and that icky feeling, but only make it as strong as the recipient can handle.

    Recipe #18271

A quick stew like kid pleaser. My mother's creation. Yes we really do call it Chicken Stuff.

    Recipe #17505

This is a subtle way to prepare chicken.

    Recipe #223044

This is something that one of my mother's friends served us once. Lately there has been a 'Homebakes' version available in the store. But why buy a boxed meal when it is this easy? And of course you can use any chili that you like.

    Recipe #32371

A twist on a classic. For a creamy one add to a large glass with more syrup and a shot of Irish Creme and some Chocolate liqueur. ;) Remember, always drink responsibly, I love yall guys alive.

    Recipe #61392

I forgot the potatoes and a few other things, so I made this. I use Imaginge Organic Creamy Sweet Corn Soup, and White Cheddar & Broccoli Pasta Roni This is very rich and delicious.

    Recipe #272361

Okay, so it is stuffed peppers; but doesn't it sound fancier! This is what my son calls them, I don't know why. And I like it so that is what I call the dish. My dad's cousins' kids named a dish 'Sloppy-glop' and everyone loves it anyway....I'll stop rambling now. This is great with a tossed salad and some crusty bread. I will say 8 servings for the calculator, really if you were making this as an appetizer you could easily get up to 32 servings by cutting each piece into 4 after they are baked.

    Recipe #99808

This is my father's receipt. We like to top each with some sour cream, salsa, shredded lettuce and diced tomato. Very good ;) and can be made with any meat you prefer.

    Recipe #25046

Not your typical gooey sweet cocoa brownies, these are full of 'ohh what is that?' flavors. And yet very simple to prepare.

    Recipe #479361

This is a compound butter that is great with potatoes, perogies and many other foods. When it melts is almost a sauce in itself. I like it on leftover cold salt potatoes too.

    Recipe #188173

This is a good way to use up leftover stew or Thanks Giving turkey and gravy. The filling just needs to be stew like. You can mix shredded turkey, gravy and leftover veggies to do this. Just don't make it too runny.

    Recipe #32285

My grandmother learned to make Arroz con pollo from a lady at our church when I was a kid. That receipt called for 2 whole chickens... I have never cooked it myself. This comes close, just be sure to use a tomato barbecue sauce, not a molasses one. Or you could use a can of crushed tomatoes with a thick barbecue sauce and cook the sauce down before adding the rice. You could certainly use any meat you have on hand.

    Recipe #61223

This is an easy sauce that can be served on the side or used to prepare meat or vegetables. I recommend it with chicken, cauliflower and potatoes. I would like to know what others try it with, if you don't mind telling me in a comment.
