This blend of ingredients will give your recipes a more robust flavor than store bought. I found it in a cookbook called, "Meatless Meals," by Barbara Echols

    Recipe #391627

This is a very fast and tasty dish. It is great just as written, although I also like to add a little Thai Chili Sauce to it for zing! Also, I use a mix of stir fry vegetables, but the original recipe calls for frozen bell peppers. If you wanted to cut the peppers, this would probably be good with fresh peppers. This recipe is doubled from the original.

    Recipe #390561

There are a ton of muesli recipes around, however, this is MY muesli recipe. I went a year without eating it because when I was pregnant, I had an aversion to it! I almost forgot how to make it. So I will not forget again, I am posting it here for safe keeping. Remember, this is just a guideline. This is very tasty! I even make a version of it for my one year old without nuts and whole oats ground in the food processor. Muesli is supposed to give you more energy because it has ingredients that are "alive" rather than "dead." In other words, do not use processed ingredients.

    Recipe #321864

This is so easy and so good. We eat this about twice a month! I found this recipe in a local book called Beginnings, A Collection of Appetizers Presented by the Junior League of Akron.

    Recipe #186540

I found this in my Pillsbury cookbook which is falling apart. The recipe calls for 1/2 c. sugar, but I think it is good with 1/3 c. sugar. Also see the vanilla variation that I posted.

    Recipe #390567

I found this in my Pillsbury cookbook which is falling apart. Also see the chocolate variation that I posted.

    Recipe #390566

I found this in the October 2007 edition of Cooking Light. The description says, "Rich salmon, coated in almond meal, acquires a toasted flavor reminiscent of browned butter. Serve with broccoli rabe, orzo pasta, and pinot noir." It is true about the browned butter taste.

    Recipe #393439

I found this recipe in Peter Reinhart's book American Pie. Put the garlic on top of a pizza (try #186393) for a special treat or freeze/refrigerate it to use in other recipes. Save the oil for salads and sauces.

    Recipe #186303

My mom has made this for years. She does not know where she found the recipe.

    Recipe #407088

This is delicious and healthy too! The only changes I made were to substitute the fresh basil with 1 T. dried sweet basil and to omit the salt.

    Recipe #412314

A very simple recipe from my Pillsbury Cookbook. I always double it, but the proportions below are as written in the cookbook. Also, I never pre cook my broccoli.

    Recipe #449371

I made this recipe for the first time tonight. The fish was ridiculously tender! Even when it was done, it was only "warm," but it sure was yummy. I found it in a cookbook called, Meals on the Move, by Holly Clegg.

    Recipe #313427

This is a tasty, weekday meal. I think you could easily omit the salt since the soup provides plenty of sodium.

    Recipe #408354

I found this recipe in a book called, "Healthy Heart, Lifestyle Guide and Cookbook," on behalf of the Cleveland Clinic. I used my own beef broth from http://www.recipezaar.com/Shredded-Beef-for-French-Dips-Crock-Pot-155355 which probably made it less healthy, but my husband and I both liked it.

    Recipe #388280

This dish is wonderfully simple and looks very elegant when served. You will impress your guests and family with this one. My step sister in law gave me this one. Thanks Diane!

    Recipe #186527

My favorite Aunt Peggy gave me this recipe. You must serve this at Thanksgiving and Christmas!

    Recipe #186016

This recipe comes from Paula Deen's Kitchen Classics book.

    Recipe #496672

This recipe is from Bon Appetite. It will remind you of a Derby Pie, but the company that makes the famous pie claims that their pie does not have corn syrup in it.

    Recipe #154623

I made this in the oven with a roasting pan. I put water in the bottom of the pan and heated the oven to 400 deg. Then I lined the rack with aluminum foil, and baked the marinated salmon for 10-15 minutes. It was very tasty. The ingredients listed below are doubled from the book. Also, I used olive oil instead of canola oil.

    Recipe #386099

I created this dish with ingredients on hand in my kitchen. I thought the title fitting because this is a hearty, "comfort food" meal that would have satisfied a Roman soldier. It is mostly an Italian meal except for the Greek seasoning, an item a Roman soldier could have discovered while he was out and about conquering the world. You may use any vegetable in this dish, but I like to use stir fry veggies with sugar snap peas.
