Made to eat with a spoon! Because I am lowering my carbs and sugars, I've dropped this to only one T honey. The original is sweeter, so feel free to go back up to three :) It's delicious sweeter, I just can't handle that much sugar.

    Recipe #325781

From the Black Hills Rosemalers Recipes; Norwegian section. For ZWT6.

For ZWT7. A curry powder that can be used with chicken or beef.

condiment for south east asian foods. from Hot, Sour, Salty, Sweet. You can use any mild chile in this recipe, such as Hungarian Wax or Cubanelle.

    Recipe #425009

From the Black Hills Recipes book. ZWT6.

    Recipe #426608

These are the granola version of Rice Crispy Treats. I found this version in King Sooper's Optimum Wellness newsletter and, of course, tweaked it to fit what I had in the house. They turned out quite well! I used Kashi Seven Grain cereal and all the dried fruit and nuts I could find in my kitchen (pine nuts, sunflower seeds, currants, dried blueberries), plus organic peanut butter since I forgot to get almond butter. I also threw in some coconut I had sitting around...

    Recipe #190327

This is a very quick and simple way to make an asian soup. I like a darker soy sauce in soups; I will mix shoyu and black soy sauce. I also prefer lower sodium because the chicken broth will have a lot of salt. Also, you can use white vinegar if you don't have rice.

Just adding to the lists of Asian food for the ZWT! What makes this special is the black vinegar. If you can't get any, use regular rice vinegar, but if you can find black... GET IT. It's like the difference between Italian and Spanish olive oils. Subtle and amazing. From Hot, Sour, Salty, Sweet

    Recipe #425021

It should really use bavarian cream, or a good custard, but sometimes it's just too hot to use the stove!

For ZWT7. Very simple recipe and similar to what I make on weekends to go with my eggs!

    Recipe #457885

fishy goodness. even my friend who wasn't too sure about fish liked it :)

    Recipe #293086

ZWT7.... This is exactly how the recipe was posted and I'm still not sure if it's a raw fish recipe or the halibut is supposed to be cooked. I'm guessing raw since it says to eat immediately and discard all leftovers. Since I'm in Colorado and we don't get fresh fish, I always cook my meat.

    Recipe #457880

For ZWT7... There were a few saurkraut salads, but I didn't see any with the same ingredients.

    Recipe #457884

I needed a rich pudding to go over cupcakes for my friend's birthday. They needed to be more or less low-carb; preferably more than less. *grins*

    Recipe #358456

From the Black Hills Recipe book for ZWT6... I thought this would be fun with the Feta Cheese Broiled Tomatoes, since it uses mayonnaise. I'm not sure how much this makes... looks like a couple cups maybe?

This is how I make Top Ramen. For some reason, I like the texture of Top Ramen better than proper soba noodles.

i serve this over a salad, but you can make it like a proper fajita :) cook time does not include marinating!

    Recipe #281072

The most delicious way to eat brussel sprouts :) It works for shredded cabbage too. There are tons of recipes with bacon and sprouts :) Check them all out! YUM!

    Recipe #496304

This is one of my favorite quick meals. It's very thai-ish but not traditional in any way. The recipe is very versatile. You can use any meat (chicken and salmon are my favorites) and any fresh, dried, or frozen veggies you have. You can add any kind of noodles, although I don't like the taste of wheat noodles in this dish. Rice, bean, and kelp are the tastiest.

    Recipe #496290

This is very nom. Everyone loved it at Thanksgiving! This is a wonderfully tart sauce with a warm bite from the ginger and just enough sweet.
