I have a very good friend who brings me wonderful NY Bagels a few times a year. I throw them in my freezer, and I used to microwave them to bring them back to life. I tried a little something different for this past year and thought I should share it with all of you! Please note that all recipes require a minimum of 2 ingredients to post, so I included a mini bagel to meet the requirements. :)
I absolutely love the sausage breakfast burritos that McDonald's sells. This recipe is by no means a copycat, but it was definitely an inspiration for this recipe. I have tweaked it for over a year, and this is the final product. This is a terrific recipe if you're on the go, and it's really easy to throw together. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does!
This isn't a copycat recipe. This is THE recipe from Super Suppers. If you've ever made it, you know you love it. If you haven't, well get cooking already! By the way, the original recipe calls for Campbell's White Cream Sauce (Bechamel), but it is rather difficult to find. If you cannot find it, just use recipe #61333 and shoot for medium thickness.
Sometimes, I just don't want to separately make a meat, a vegetable and a starch. This is an awesome all in one salad that my family and I enjoy often. The salad and the french fries in the salad are inspired by a restaurant called "The Decade" in Pittsburgh, which is sadly no longer in existence. You can really do whatever you want with this recipe - any ingredients - any dressings; I'm just sharing the way that we usually do it. Enjoy!
Whenever my in-laws come to visit, we have at least one "Omelet Morning" where the whole family gets to choose their own Made To Order omelets that I then create for them. They absolutely love the way I make them and I wanted to share my methods with you. This is for anyone who is a terrible "omelet flipper" like me! :) Add or take away ingredients as you wish. Oh, and pay no attention to the nutritional information generated by Zaar. That would only be accurate if you used all of the ingredients in all 4 omelets. Also, I estimated the amounts of the ingredients so you have enough for just about any option someone throws at you. Have fun!
So easy and delicious! Don't be afraid of all of the steps - it really is an easy recipe! You can save time by making and shredding the chicken the day before. This recipe was featured on America's Test Kitchen and printed in Cooks Illustrated magazine. I tweaked it a bit, but the basic recipe is in tact. My family LOVES this dish and I am asked to make it quite often.
This was given to me by a coworker many many years ago, and once I tried it, I had to have the recipe. Absolutely delicious and easy - it's a three layer dip that tastes just like pizza, but even better! I make this for every Superbowl Party and my guests LOVE it!
