A recipe from a Pilot Club of Greater Kanawha Valley (WV) recipe book. Submitted by Pam Gray. Have not tried yet, but I am posting to save until I can try it out.

    Recipe #294953

I originally got this recipe from Cooking Light a couple of years ago. It is easy to make and has great flavor! The rest of my non-WW family enjoys it. You won't miss the fat! I calculated points putting the sloppy joe on a lite wheat bun (Kroger brand has one with 80 calories-- 1/2 gram fat, 4 fiber grams--1 point. I'm sure there are other light versions out there.) If you adjust the recipe and use more sloppy joe mixture on your bun or use a higher-calorie, higher-point bun, of course your WW point values will change.

    Recipe #294940

A salad that serves well as a light meal. Received at a Weight Watchers meeting. 4 WW points per serving. The original recipe suggests using a red pear for color, but adds that you can substitute any ripe pear. Also, if you can't find roasted almonds, roast your own by spreading almonds on a baking sheet and roasting them in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. In summer months, you could easily swap ripe peaches or nectarines for the pears.

    Recipe #294929

    An easy appetizer dip.

    Recipe #278454

These wonderful cookies were brought to our boring Faculty Senate meetings at school by Brianna, a 7th grade English teacher. All the teachers were instantly addicted! So moist and yummy. She also had a vanilla icing that went on top---with these ingredients---powdered sugar, butter, milk and vanilla extract. The only problem is that she never measured the ingredients for the icing--just whipped it up--as I do--so you'll have to kind of guess for yourself how much of each ingredient--all she told me was you need lots of powdered sugar and butter and just a little milk and vanilla extract. Good luck! (But even if you don't get the icing to turn out--the cookies themselves are out of this world!) The serving size may be off--I can't quite remember how much the recipe makes.

    Recipe #256236

Oh my gosh, this is soooo good! Different than most pizzas that you might come across and different than the other couple of eggplant parmesan recipes that I saw on 'Zaar. The marinara sauce really brings out the flavor of the veggies. And it includes not just eggplant but zucchini as well. Mmm! The crushed red pepper adds a bit of spice, so if you want to tone it down, you might leave that off--but I liked it as is.

    Recipe #239260

An easy casserole dish. I don't remember where I found the recipe, but I've had it for several years.

    Recipe #239258

A yummy, easy to put together dip. I found it in a Paula Deen cookbook. Too easy and good!

    Recipe #239229

I've made this several times and we really enjoy it. I believe it came from a Weight Watchers cookbook, but I can't quite remember. It has 6 WW points, if you are following that program. Even if you're not, it's great, and I think even better than what you'd get in a restaurant. My husband, who is definitely anti-diet food anything, really likes it.

    Recipe #239226

This pie is so yummy. It's just the perfect chocolate pie. Rich, fudgy and surprisingly lower in fat and calories. Very simple and easy to make, as well. (Prep time does not include time for chilling). This recipe came from a "Cooking Light" cookbook, and per piece has 272 calories and 8.6 grams of fat.

    Recipe #181138

MMmmmmmmmmmm.. Calories per serving--359, Fat- 11.2 grams You will feel like you are cheating! This makes a ton, so feel free to cut the recipe in half.

    Recipe #181116

A great Mexican-inspired main dish--delicious served with warmed salsa on top (if you don't make your own salsa--I recommend using Emeril's medium southwest-style salsa--it was so yummy w/ this!)and a mixed green salad. Add more jalapenos or leave them out, according to your liking. (You could also use mild green chiles as well.) You may also use a Mexican blend of cheeses, instead of the cheddar.

    Recipe #175859

Since starting Weight Watchers, I've been experimenting with how to make some of my favorite dishes lower in fat and calories. If I've figured correctly (using 93% lean ground beef and part-skim cheese), these enchiladas should have about 7-8 points each. (The nutritional information that RecipeZaar provides does not always coincide with actual package nutritional information, so please use your own judgement.) My non-Weight watching husband enjoyed them as well. Feel free to add more sauce if you like more of that, as well as add the jalapeno with a few seeds, if you like a hotter enchilada.

    Recipe #170703

This was a recipe that I received at a recent Weight Watchers meeting. Though it's full of yummy beef, cheese and spinach, according to Weight Watchers, only has 8 points for 1 whole quesadilla. (Serving suggestion by WW was 1/4 of a quesadilla for 2 pts, but I made these, and we each ate 1 whole for dinner.) My husband and I really liked them--they do not have a traditional flavor, but the blue cheese is so yummy. Adjust the heat of the taco sauce and the amount of red pepper flakes to your spiciness liking. We served these with extra taco sauce on the side.

    Recipe #170702

An easy recipe for peanut butter bread. This makes a dense, heavy bread--I think it's good for breakfast or a snack.

    Recipe #159344

A recipe for Babe Ruth bars, a little different than the one I already saw posted here on Zaar. These are easy and good--I've made them for church functions, and they were always a hit.

    Recipe #159343

A recipe that includes a little of everything! Yummy! Given to me by someone at church. Before you start the recipe, please note that it makes a LOT of cookies--9 dozen! This recipe also needs to chill overnight (very important--not included in prep times)Great if you need a cookie recipe for a bake sale or to feed a crowd.

    Recipe #159339

There are a few recipes posted for "Butterfinger Bars" but none quite like like this one. This is a yummy bar cookie that is quick and easy enough for even kids to make. I have taken this to numerous gatherings and folks always ask for the recipe.

    Recipe #157414

Yummy and so easy! Good for breakfast or a snack.

    Recipe #157412

This is a delicious lower fat, lower calorie baked french fry--evidently soaking the potatoes in the salt-sugar solution draws out some of their water. This way they brown and crisp instead of steam. So yummy! (to me, these taste like the fry-daddy type french fries my mom made me when I was a kid!) My non-dieter husband also deemed these delicious. 159 calories/5 g. fat, 0 mg. cholesterol/28 g. carbs/3 g fiber Weight Watchers Points per serving: 3 This came from a WW book, but I'm not sure which one.
