Mom makes these sweet-filled rolls every year for our friends for Christmas. They are even requested! My favorite part is that I usually have all the ingredients on hand and it makes a lot in a little amount of time.
This recipe was compiled into my Grandmother's church cookbook, which has since been handed down to my mother and myself. I've tried several different kinds of lasagna and this one always beats out the competition!
People just gorge on this dip, including my own family! I like it best prepared and eaten right away, since the toffee is still crunchy. But others prepare it the night before and eat it after the chips have dissolved. To each his own!
A woman named Brenda Jacobson gave out this recipe at a church activity, and I snatched it right up! So wonderful, easy, and different. At brunches I'll serve this alongside a mint brownie for a different selection and it gets rave reviews. My kids even prefer these over the original.
