"A blend of colorful vegetables in a flavorful sauce makes this a sure family pleaser!" From "The Best Milk Recipes in America: family-favorites edition" booklet by Better Homes and Gardens. Very tasty! Uploaded for safe keeping.

    Recipe #520527

From a newspaper insert in Panama. Very rich and satisfying! My mother always wants this meal for her birthday.

    Recipe #497927

A Better Homes and Gardens Recipe (Oct. '77). An easy, VERY tasty, elegant rich soup. Sophisticated, not necessarily a kids favorite, but very good. Good as an appetizer soup. Cream based soup, but not very heavy. Good for a cold winter's day. One family member asks for this for Christmas every year. Can substitute 1 pint fresh clans or oysters for canned clams.

    Recipe #492693

The family meatball recipe. Came from an Italian family friend from two generations back. I haven't had another one that matches this one yet. Posted for safe keeping. (Gluten Free option included).

    Recipe #488835

This is a great rice and beans recipe we got from our good friend Robert West in Panama. However, this is more a Jamaican style than Panamanian style rice and beans. He told us that a Jamaican woman taught him this recipe. I only try to make it as good as he did. This is great with barbeque chicken, cole slaw, and candied plantains (or platano en tentacion, as they call it in Panama). Also good by itself as a snack. If you add more beans you could have a nice vegetarian dish. The flavors intensify if you let it set overnight. *To speed things up you can used canned beans and just add the extra veggies when cooking the rice.

    Recipe #473710

Nice tasting chicken curry, fairly simple to make. Good over rice. Serve with a cucumber salad on the side. A family staple from our local paper, posted for safe keeping.

    Recipe #435967

GF flours are so expensive (especially in Panama), so I'm trying to get a good corn based pancake. I've been tinkering with this recipe, and I'm posting it here for safe keeping. It's a work in progress. Here in Panama they have what they call crema de maiz or cream of corn. It is a very fine ground corn flour. Masa harina that you use for tamales might work as well.

    Recipe #411682

Posting for safe keeping. Tupperware recipe. Very tasty, very satisfying. Well liked by the whole family (especially men and children!). Gluten free also.

    Recipe #411115

This is a simple, easy to fix recipe I got off the back of a can of Del Monte Spaghetti sauce. Simple but tasty! (Note: You could use whatever spaghetti sauce you want, but I do highly recommend Del Monte's Four Cheese sauce. It it one of my favorites. I like it better than some of the more expensive sauces, of course with the exception of Classico!)

    Recipe #388804

I got this recipe back in the day from a package of Oodles of Noodles ramen noodles. Its a cheap, and easy, yet tasty meal. Sure to please! (NOTE: cooking time does not include cooking the chicken).
