Posting for ZWT6 Greece region. From allrecipes. Here's what the contributor, Lisawas had to say. "An authentic Greek salad from Oia, Santorini in Greece. Traveling through Greece, I feel in love with the Greek salads on the islands because they had no lettuce."
This is written for a charcoal water smoker. I use a gas smoker and use wood chips instead of chunks. Prep time includes marinade time. Best if smoker temperature is held at about 225° F. Lamb is best when served at medium-rare(145° F) to medium(160°F). Submitted to www.recipezaar.com on April 8, 2010.
Some recipes fry meatballs for extra flavor and firm texture, however you can retain plenty of flavor and texture by baking them at a high temperature. "Juicy, aromatic, packed with flavor homemade Italian meatballs." You can cook these meatballs ahead and then freeze them on a baking sheet. When frozen remove and store in a freezer bag. This is one of my go to marinades for barbecued chicken. Its from Better Homes and Gardens all-time favorite barbecue recipes cookbook. This will marinate 4 to 8 pieces of chicken, about 3 pounds. Submitted to www.recipezaar.com on Feb. 18, 2010.
From Creative Everyday Cooking. "Tossing hot spaghetti with beaten egg adds richness---for a minimum of calories---to this simple pasta dish."
Do - ahead: The shrimp can be shelled and deveined ahead. The mushrooms and scallions can be cut up ahead, and the beaten egg mixture can be prepared a short while before cooking. Submitted to www.recipezaar.com on Feb. 18, 2010.
Saw this on Guy Fieri's show and it looked fantastic. It got great reviews on the food network site so I thought I'd post it here so I can try it later. Pappardelle pasta can be found in the dairy section of most major grocery stores, if unable to fined, any wide noodle pasta will work. Some reviews mentioned that olive oil was used instead of truffle oil. Submitted to www.recipezaar.com on Feb. 16, 2010.
Traditional Filipino noodle dish. I came up with this blend of ingredients after looking through several Pancit recipes. I feel that boneless, skinless chicken thigh meat has more moisture and flavor. Submitted to www.recipezaar.com on January 12, 2010
