This is a redo of my Grandmother's Pumpkin Cookies. They were not very unhealthy to begin with but I have tried to make them healthier and they turned out pretty good. I am curious about the nutritional value that comes up here and wanted to share them with anyone who is looking for healthier treats.
This cake is sooo simple and really very good. It's very moist...I made it two days ago and it's still very moist. It might be good with a little whipped cream or some ice cream, but it's very good all by itself!
I got this recipe from Taste of Home's "44 Meals Under $10". It was submitted by Reba Savoie.
I got this recipe on a web site -- I don't remember which. My kids all LOVED it. It was very tender and it was very easy to make. (As some peoplle have mentioned and I also do is use 1 or 2 pieces of bacon per chicken breast. The original recipe calls for 1 lb. but I have never used that much.)
This is a great side dish that everyone in my family really likes. It's great for holiday dinners since it can be made ahead of time. Even my mother who doesn't like jello likes this recipe. It's also very good using cherry jello and cherry pie filling.
