This delicious twist on the chicken & broccoli crescent ring was a contest winner submitted on one of Emeril's Cooking with Kids specials. A little boy named Noah came up with this version, which I tried immediately and loved. I added jalapenos and more garlic to mine. I use leftover rotisserie chicken, skinned and boned or freshly poached chicken breast meat in this. Also NOTE: The original version called for only 1 can of crecsent rolls and made 1 wreath. However, I found there was a lot of filling, enough for 2 wreaths. I made 1 wreath and saved the extra filling to bake as a separate casserole (bake for the same amount of time and serve with crusty rolls on the side).

    Recipe #231357

After I saw this recipe demonstrated on tv called "Zacherl einfach kochen!"while living in Germany, I had to give it a try. It was so yummy. On the show, they served the dish by chopping up the finished pancake and sauteeing in a skillet (turning it into Schmarrn, a popular German chopped pancake). However, we preferred this recipe straight out of the baking dish. This recipe calls for Huettenkaese, which is German for Cottage cheese.

    Recipe #231356

Easy and so good. My friend Jenny shared this recipe with me, and I have since made it many times. I personally prefer reduced fat sour cream, but her original version calls for the full fat version. This makes a nice sized dish to bring to a gathering, about 10-12 servings.

    Recipe #231327

A recipe that I found in a community cookbook and tinkered with. Originally, I used to mix up a packet of Good Seasons Honey French dressing for this recipe, which they stopped selling. This was a tangy, somewhat sweet bright orange salad dressing. The closest match I have found is Catalina dressing or bottled french dressing with a touch of honey mixed into it. Also, the rice mix I use comes in a square clear plastic container, the same people that sell Texmati rice. It is a seasoned rice blend, but not overly salty. I have found the box mixes can often be far too salty in this recipe. The microwave wild rice packets you can now purchase (such as Uncle Ben's) would be just fine (about 2 of those pouches is probably enough)

    Recipe #231328

Another delicious treat from my friend Jenny. Jenny uses the oatmeal, but I usually use the bread. I also like dijon mustard. Jenny served this as a main dish over rice, along with her Corn Bake.

    Recipe #231326

I attended a Watkins spices demo party and the lady prepared this delicious cheese ball using Watkins brand Bacon & Horseradish Mix, which is a dry seasoning blend. It was a little spicy and I enjoyed it very much.

    Recipe #231324

This recipe comes from my daughter's Italian Great-Grandmother, who got it from her mother-in-law. This makes lots of filling, I had enough for 2 batches of dough.

    Recipe #231325

I originally saw a version of this on the Robin Miller show. The dressing is so delicious, although it will be much thinnner than typical dressings. I added additional fruits to the recipe, you can really use whatever fruits you like and certainly can add more veggies if you wish. I used turkey meat I purchased in a huge hunk at the grocery store (rotisserie style, skinned and boned roasted breast meat). Next time I make this I plan to serve sliced avocado with it as well.

    Recipe #229795

These are really yummy muffins. My friend Jenny brought these to a potluck once and I asked her for the recipe. I am giving the original measurements for the topping as she gave me, however I prefer to make less toppping.

    Recipe #227790

This is so fast & easy to prepare. Another winner from Robin Miller. I prefer to ice mine, she just dusted with powdered sugar. Either way, this is a moist, delicious cake that is ready so fast...I don't even let it cool first if I am just using powdered sugar.

    Recipe #227589

These were so easy, fast and tasted wonderful. Makes a very small amount, which is nice if you have a smaller family. From Eillie Krieger's Healthy Appetite show. If you like it smoother, you can use a potato masher or a stick blender to mush the beans.

    Recipe #227250

I have been looking all over for this recipe and finally found it again today. I made this several tines to rave reviews, and then I moved and I could not remember which pumpkin cheesecake I had made..there must be hundreds of them out there. And then today, while sorting through my old cookbooks, there it was. Originally from "More Family Favorites" by Mary Beth Roe. Easy and so good.

    Recipe #227251

I tried a version of this chicken after watching a Robin Miller episode. She made this with olives in the mix and did not let it marinate. We didn't care for the olives with this, and I prefer to let it marinate. The leftover chicken is great in Recipe #226933.

    Recipe #226934

I used leftover Recipe #226934 in this. If your leftover chicken meat isn't very Mexican tasting, you might want to rub it with some cumin powder & chile powder first, or even some Mexican seasoning.

    Recipe #226933

Found this recipe tucked in one of my Mom's cookbooks. Jane was a neighbor when I was growing up. She was an amazing cook. Mom would buy pizza dough from the local pizzeria to make pizza at home. This makes enough sauce for about 5-6 large pizzas. It will be very thick and slightly chunky. Freeze in small batches for up to 3 months.

    Recipe #226168

I got this from a local newspaper years ago and it is a super easy thing to turn to on busy nights.

    Recipe #226109

Adapted from a Robin Miller recipe. She served this with some Asian cellophane noodles lightly tossed in some sesame oil and fresh cilantro. I served this with ramen noodles and I would recommend serving a dipping sauce to accompany it, such as hoisin sauce or even an extra batch of marinade. She did not marinate hers, I prefer to marinate at least an hour or so.

    Recipe #225401

So good, and so easy. This is a way to doctor up ordinary yellow cupcakes and vanilla pudding into a scrumptious, family pleasing treat. These are my standard potluck and "send into the office" cupcakes. Prepare your favorite yellow cupcakes for this and your favorite vanilla pudding.

    Recipe #225245

This was so delicious, elegant looking, and really quite easy. Nice last minute company dish. I served this over couscous cooked it in chicken broth and drizzled with olive oil to add extra flavor. Wild rice, brown rice, or orzo pasta would also be nice with this. Whichever you choose, toss with a little olive oil, salt & pepper or season however you prefer. My version of an Ellie Krieger recipe.

    Recipe #224659

This was so refreshing and unique. I couldn't stop eating this. A welcome change from the creamy cucumber salads I was used to. This goes great as a side with wraps or tacos. Originally from Quick Fix. Don't make this too far in advance as the cukes will wilt over time.
