I found this on the Sargento.com website and this was so good. Whenever my husband tells me that it's really good and I can make it again I figure it's worth posting. I hope you will try this and enjoy it as well.
This cake is very moist and made with applesauce rather than oil. I made it one day and it was gone the next..ENJOY! I must admit I didn't make the frosting I just put Cool Whip on mine along with some of the strawberries in the syrup.
I found this in a Down-Home Cooking book and tried it the other night. My husband said that I can make this anytime I want he loved it. It also tasted a bit better a few nights later when we had it for leftovers :)
I found this in the Sept. 2003 Issue of Cooking Light. I did make one small change and used vanilla yogurt instead of plain (only because I didn't have any plain) This is a very moist bread and not difficult to make either.....I hope that you will ENJOY
My friend gave me this Recipe last year when I was looking for something to bring to Thanksgiving dinner...It came from a Martha Stewart magazine..It takes some time to prep but well worth it...YUM YUM
