I prefer these without the frosting, but the Hubby has a sweet tooth ;)

    Recipe #519686

My son (P1) loves the topping...he'll usually eat all the top off first and then dig in to the cheesy goodness. :)

    Recipe #519677

This is one of my fam's favorite dishes (my 8 yr old son, P1, loves it!) and it's super easy to make too. Lots of chopping, but I find that more therapeutic then shopping sometimes :) COOKING NOTE: Sometimes I hate to use the grill so this does well in the broiler too. Just use a baking sheet lined with foil topped with a non-coated cooling rack. Also fill bottom of pan with 1/2 cup of water to help cook evenly and keeps the meat juicy. Based a few times to get a nice thick, saucy coating.

    Recipe #519403

Recipe is for a crock pot! Delish and easy! This is based off of a traditional Char Siu sauce, but true to my nature I can never leave well enough alone! I modified this recipe a lot. I just couldn't help myself. Also, the meat is usually prepared over fire or roasted, but I really wanted to find a recipe that worked well in a slow cooker and I think I accomplished that by making my mods. Hope you like it too! ENJOY!

    Recipe #515768

This is my take on my favorite cookie, rice pudding style :) You need 3 1/2 cups of liquid for this recipe so you can sub for all coconut milk or vanilla almond milk and make it vegan too.

    Recipe #512696

These are seriously wicked and sinfully delicious! They definitely don't last long in our house. LOL

    Recipe #512695

This was a comfort food growing up. I can remember sitting around the table with my siblings hand-making the little dumplings. Now I make them with my kiddos. :) You can freeze the dumplings too by placing them in a single layer on a parchment lined baking sheet, then place that in the freezer over night. Bag them up depending on an individual portion size (6-8 dumplings per person...usually LOL). Then all you have to do is bring your stock to a boil, empty your pre portioned baggie in, boil for 6-8 minutes and you have yourself some fast, better-than-takeout, wonton soup! You can also pan-fry or steam these to make dumplings :)

    Recipe #512694

Who knew pork wrapped in more pork could be so nummy!!

    Recipe #512583

This can be served as a main dish or a side dish. We usually have it as the prelude to our main course. Be sure to soak your wooden skewers in warm water for at least 20 min to 1 hour before you throw them on the grill or they will burn. I learned this the hard way...

    Recipe #498648

I got the peanut butter sauce from Chef #631739. Thought it would be a good combo with this insanely rich but sinfully delicious dessert.

    Recipe #497027

You can enjoy this one hot or cold as a pasta salad...

    Recipe #496686

    These are great for picnics!

    Recipe #496681

I love crispy skins, but my hubby does not so I always take his. :)) Here are some tools you'll need if you want to achieve that yummy crispy skin: foil, a baking sheet, and a non-coated cooling rack or a toaster oven rack that will elevate the fish from bottom of the cookie sheet...yes you could use a broiling pan, but those things are a pain to clean and you wouldn't get such yummy extra crispy skins :) I choose to broil mine but this will work well on the grill too. Just be sure to brush the hot grill rack with olive oil so the skin does not stick.

    Recipe #496598

Another fond childhood memory...with one of my modifications. The original filling was usually made with Crisco, YUCK! I changed it to cream cheese and added fresh raspberries. :)

    Recipe #519687

These are always the first thing to go at our family gatherings :) No matter how many times I've made these, I ALWAYS have to look up how to hard-boil an egg, LOL so I'm including that part in the directions for future reference.

    Recipe #519685

6 months (always check with your pediatrician) Original recipe from Little Green Pouch. **Oats are high in fiber, calcium, protein and even some B vitamins. Sweet potatoes are high in Vitamin A and beta carotene as well as potassium.

    Recipe #519684

Tastes just like an oatmeal sandwich cookie!
