I got this recipe from AOL back in 1998 and its good. Our simple soup really highlights the taste of sweet summer corn, but since the vegetable is available virtually all the time, you can make the chowder year-round. You can even use frozen corn, though fresh is best.

    Recipe #174188

This recipe came from Mrs A.D. Davis, who said she got it from a chuck wagon cook in Texas. Goes good with garlic bread.

    Recipe #169780

    Recipe #169251

This is a good recipe to use up left over ham, use on sandwich, crackers or dip.

    Recipe #162816

A good recipe to use up leftover chicken or turkey. . Good served over rice, noodles, toast or biscuits. (I prefer biscuits myself) This recipe takes less than 30 minutes to fix, and will serve about 6 people.
